Dr. Gregory Edsel Washington, MD

Dr. Washington spent 90 minutes reviewing my medical history and medical records from out of state and from 2 prior head and neck surgeons. His examination was extremely thorough. He recommended that no further surgery be done. I elected to follow his recommendations and I have done great over the last 7 years without any recurrence of my problem. I will be forever grateful.

Its been years since I went to Dr Washington but I think this needs to be known. I sat waiting for approx 40 minutes listening to him flirt with a female patient in the next exam room as I sat there in pain. I was in disbelief, he finally barged in and yelled at me stating that he read the notes from my primary care and there was nothing wrong with me. So when I asked what should I do about the pain in my ear and nose he went on ranting and practically kicked me out Of his office. I was shocked, I didnt know what to say or how to react. I called my insurance and asked them not to ever send me back to this weirdo. Cant believe anyone would give him more than ONE STAR. He does not care OR does he only care about SOME people from reading those who put more than one star. I question his motives and would consider legal action if needed.

Dr. Washington is the best. He asks the right questions, does a thorough examination and makes an accurate diagnosis. He is prompt, his staff is courteous and he does return your calls.

STAY AWAY!!! This man is a horrible person!!

My boyfriend needed to see a Dr asap for his water logged ear. This was the first person he could get an appt with. And I can see why!!! There were no other patients waiting to see him when we got there, or when we left. He is SUPER unprofessional, talked to us like we were children, joked around during the appointment and didnt seem to be able to explain anything he was talking about. Then, to top it off, prescribed eye drops for an ear problem! I would not recommend this Dr for any reason. Especially if you are in pain and want a no nonsense DR!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hesitate to write about my experience with this Dr because it is difficult to believe. 3 years later I am still disturbed, insulted, and humiliated by the horrific behavior he displayed as I stood at the front desk. I did nothing to deserve it from this man other than not succumb to his flirtatious behavior which he referred to later as "treating me like a lady". I should have left when during my first (and last) visit, I over heard him in the room next getting upset and impatient with a young crying child who had just had their tonsils removed. It was sad! He has anger issues. This man LOST it when I became persistence about filling out paperwork that I needed to return to work, this was after numerous failed attempts. So I showed up to the office and thats when I saw the monster in him come out. He made comments about "the type of woman I am" because of my marital status and having a child not even knowing my situation ..if I was widowed ,,,, which really doesn't even matter! He… mocked my condition ... made derogatory remarks all while I stood at the front desk. Said I threatened his staff which was FAR from the truth. His staff was very courteous to me as I was to them. The way they cowered when he was in his rage was really sad to see. Like I said, its really not something easy to believe. I still to this day cannot get over it.

Dr. Washington is the best! He was very caring during the consultation. He allowed the time needed to explain my condition, show diagrams and answer my questions. I left his office with a good understanding of my health condition and the options for treating it.

This was an extremely pleasant experience. The staff and the physician were overly kind, courteous, caring, and professional. My diagnosis and recommended medications were clearly and concisely explained. My throat problems were resolved with 4 days after being treated by 2 other specialists for 2 months.

Overall experience:front staff in general friendly (except one person who is somewhat short and condescending)Dr. Washington is an unprofessional physician with innapropriate manners, strange comments and behavior in the office. He should go back to medical school and learn again how to treat patients better.In regards to figuring out what is wrong and how to treat it --- completely incompetent. Would never recommend him to anyone, not even let him touch my cat.

Dr. Washington is one of the best ENT specialists in CA. He took the time to examine, treat and explain the procedures that were my wife's complaint. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a caring MD with experience.
