Dr. Greta Gania, DO

Dr. Gania is one of the best doctors I have ever had. She is to the point, no fluff, no extras but she is always on point. If you want a doctor to get to the point get you the care you need and get better you will with her. Dr Gania is a DO and I believe a lot of people do not know the difference and expect the same old same old treatments. Please look up more info about a DO before you book with her so you know what is going on. Here is a snippet. They tend to focus on whole-body healing, with or without traditional medication. They generally have a stronger holistic approach and have been trained with additional hours of hands-on techniques. Some people claim that DOs put more emphasis on disease prevention. I had a lot of pain going on and Dr. Gania was able to find out in 2 visits what was going on. I am very thankful for her and moving my teen over to her practice.

I really have to agree with the other review. My elderly mother is having COVID-19 related anxiety (understandably) and she had seen this doc before (not for anxiety). It's tough for my Mum to admit the issue but I set her up for a Zoom call nonetheless. This woman was SO condescending, so rude, and honestly treated my 86-year-old Mum like she was drug-seeking for panic. My Mother told me she constantly reiterated her age (did I mention condescension?) and the part I came through the room and heard, the doctor was prescribing a med which take SIX WEEKS to work. What a joke. I fact-checked her and she admitted it. In the end, my Mum (who honestly doesn't like taking more than an Advil) was prescribed 1/2 the starting dose of an anxiety med and referred to "find her own psychiatrist" to "see if she LIKED" the med. You know, if a doctor has as little empathy as a police officer who needs to retire towards an elderly woman then there's some REAL problems in this world. Just remember… docs, you SHOULD meet the standard of "do no harm". For God's sake, you're not even meeting the standard of "to protect and serve". Just remember why certain docs have so many appointments available. Pretty much says it all.

Dr. Giana is very rude, condisending and is more worried about here credentials than the patient. She treats you like your stupid and a liar. She immediately tells you, "I'm not comfortable perscibing opiates" even though you never mentioned the idea. She asked if I tried ib prophin, I said yes it didn't help my pain. So she says, "ok I'm perscibing you a transdermal ib prophin patch". I feel that was completely mindless of her. Finally she gives me Flexeril 15 5mg pills witch isn't much considering the pain I'm in. I asked for a stronger muscle relaxer, she says very manipulative, "like what." She was baiting me to say the name of a drug, so she could say I'm just drug seeking. Everyone who takes meds knows some drug names and likely did research to compare etc. But oh no he/she knows a drug name, uh oh red flag. He's just drug seeking, when in actuality the studied patent can make a better choice of drug than she can. Patients most the time know what works for them better than Dr.… Giana. Who cares more about money and untarnished crudentials than for the suffering patient. Who she automatically thinks is lier seeking drugs. Giana is very unpleasant, manipulative, misleading person.
