DR. Guido Dalbagni Saved My Life.

My mom saw Dr. Dalbagni and his team for a second opinion after learning that she had a 10cm tumor on her kidney that was likely renal cell carcinoma. The confidence and professionalism of Dr. Dalbagni and his team made it immediate clear that he we were in the best possible place for treatment. The got my mother scheduled in a very reasonable timeline and responsiveness of and communication with the team was exceptional. The surgery went exactly as Dr. Dalbagni explained. His team at MSK was outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate team of professionals to help my mom through recovery. The best part, he was able to remove all the cancer in one shot. My mom is now cleared of renal cell carcinoma. I can’t thank him and his team enough. I would whole heartedly recommended him and his team a million times over. Note: He is a man of few words and gets straight to the point. Don’t let that discourage you. He is an amazing physician/surgeon.

So I went to MSK, and you checked me from top to Bottom. In this Process you said I will Operate. Other Surgeons from another Hospital were set to Remove mu whole right Kidney. And you only took out 33 percent of my Right Kidney and Saved my Life 54 Months Ago and I am thankful I meet You. I Found you to be Kind and Professional and a Doctor who Cares about his Patients and Saved my Life and I Thank You and Sloan Kettering his the Best Nurses on the Surgical Floor. I love MSK and You so much Doctor Dalbagni for your Amazing Skill, You did what others Said could not be Done. Thank You.

Dr Dalbagni is a serious Doctor dealing with important issues. I have had surgeries with him. I have great confidence in his skill. I believe his approach is on the conservative side, he does not rush unto anything. I have found Dr. Dalbagni to be most communicative as to my treatment, I have had many personal conversations with him as well, and find him to be most interesting and having a good sense of humor.. When I first went to him he spent a long time describing what my case was, and how to successfully treat it. I recently had a procedure and just yesterday he called and told me results and what the follow-up should be. (it was good news) Of course his medical opinion is of utmost importance I rely on that. I had been treated for my condition by other Doctors and found Dr. Dalbagni to be the one whose approach to my case has made the most sense and been the most successful. Glad I found this skilled Doctor.

Dr. Dalbagnii rushed into the room and told me my surgery date without so much as a how are you. He proceeded to go into explaining the surgery with a heavy accent and extremely fast speech, this after me telling him I have a partial hearing loss from chemotherapy. At the end of his explanation he asked if I had any questions. I proceeded to ask a question, got an answer, and he rose out of his seat and couldn't wait to get out of the room. This happens every time he finished answering a question. By the time he left I was so upset I couldn't stop crying.

Dr. Dalbagne preformed several uretal stent replacements upon me. His "bedside manner" is virtually non-existent. At the time of what became my last stent replacement by him he was unable to complete it. He called in another physician, not a urologist, who finished the job & preformed a couple of future replacements. Sunsequently, I questioned that he NEVER saw me after the procedure to advise what had happened and why. During a later phone call he stated that he spoke with my wife. She "doesn't remember" him speaking with her. My point was that he should have spoken to me even if he did speak with my wife AND that he should have advised what the problem was that prevented him from concluding the procedure. After that episode I NEVER heard from until after I complained. That information was finally provided by a subsequent urologist who was able to perform the replacement. There are no circumstances where I would find myself returning to Dr. Dalbagni.

I came with my husband to see this doctor He was cold abrupt and very short Came highly recommended but I am so sorry we came to see him One of the worst attitude of medical doctor I saw And I am working in the feild of medicine for 40 years Very disappointed

Our family is satisfied with the doctor, very knowledgeable, my father in law bladder mass removal surgery went well, would recommend this doctor. His office staff is phenomenal.
