Dr. Gunjan Krishna Saxena, MD

Not surprised by other reviewers. This woman should not be a Doctor. Lacks, patience and empathy. My brother missed her call for my mothers severe back pain and she leaves a rude message saying “either reschedule or go to urgent care” I called her office and was told Dr should be calling back in a few minutes and she never called again. I hope Kaiser isn’t ripping off elderly patients and charging them for a Dr canceling an appointment on the patient. I will never ever schedule appointments with this woman again. Such a horrible experience considering how hard it is to get appointments and then have to deal with a Dr who lacks complete empathy. I hope this woman chooses to do something else with her life other than take care of patients. She deserves negative 10 thumbs down :(

Dr. Saxena doesn't deserve even the one star. Echoing everything everyone else said, I had the same horrible experience with her. I only saw this doctor twice for an unknown ongoing medical condition that I'm currently facing. The second time I saw her she was 20 minutes late to our appointment, then instead of asking how my symptoms are she berated me on (invasive) testing I didn't do with a separate department, even though I talked to them (in addition to another separate department) thoroughly and was told to follow up with Dr. Saxena directly. Once I finally had a chance to speak she talked over me and raised her voice at me, which shocked me. She was yelling about my personal medical information in an office with paper-thin walls. I know anybody within the conjoining hallways and neighboring rooms could hear because I could clearly hear her talking to her previous patient, in a normal tone of voice, in the room next to mine while I waited. I'd never been treated like this by any… medical staff, let alone a doctor, in my life and I hope I can help others avoid the same medical trauma by leaving this review. I filed a grievance with Kaiser about this incident and nothing came of it.

Like everyone else, I’ve had terrible experiences with her. She just lacks empathy and a bedside manner. She is impatient, cancels appointments, lacks follow up, and doesn’t listen to her patients. I am currently in the hospital because she didn’t her job, order blood work or answer any of my emails. I was diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome, a very serious condition which causes paralysis. Find any other doctor or pay the price.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. Extremely unprofessional, horrible office communication, unreliable appointments. Cancelled my appointment 3 times in a row last minute. No attempt at rescheduling. Horrible.

She could not come in time, as late as 30 mins. Arrogant about it. You would feel hostile with her. Just avoid if you are looking specific directions from doctor.

Dr Saxena has really poor way of communication. She is out of the office most of the time. She doesnot respond on time. She doesnot follow up. You have to keep nagging to get same things. She is not professional and doesnot go out of her way to help any patient. Infact she doesn't even make an effort. all she does is pass the buck! Please think twice before going to this doctor. very wrong person for the profession. No compassion to help at all.

I chose Dr. Gunjan Saxena and visited hospital about skin allergies. I was told that it may be due to dry skin and got suggestions to change soap, detergent etc. Tried everything and nothing worked. I am taking one citrigen hcl pill for every 3days. I requested to put blood test, she said she’s gonna put that forms. I went to lab, they said no tests ordered for me. I have emailed my doctor 3days ago. Still I haven’t received any response.

Worst ever hospital experience with this doctor! She was unprofessional, did not have patience, and shown terrible attitude. Did not respect to the patience, with her careless, arrogant tone and manner. Just waste my time and money to see this doctor, and bring me bad mood. Such an unprofessional, careless, and arrogant doctor without respect to patience. Avoid her!!
