Dr. Gunjiganur Gurushanthaiah, MD

Dr. Gurushanthaiah is lacking in communication skills. As a hearing impaired person when I informed him that I need him to look at me rather then looking away while speaking to me he just laughs and continues to look the other way. I had to ask a nurse to sit in on one of my appointments to assist me with understanding what he was saying. He made a written promise to me to correct clerical errors in my medical records (Mixing of two patient's records together) and over a year later I'm still having to explain to other doctors why the information (Labs test results - medical diagnosis - medicine allergies - drug addictions - weight - treating doctors) in my medical record is inaccurate and does not belong to me. Because Dr. Gurushanthaiah did not fix the problem as he stated he would other doctors within the same facility have now used the incorrect information and copied it into other places inside my medical record and based their medical notes/actions on the other person's records.… So in short, the single act of having someone else's record mixed into my record has spread further throughout my medical record because he did not correct the problem as he stated he would when notified by me in writing of the problem.
