Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Sandhoo, DO

I met Dr. Sandhoo when I was hospitalized at Mercy Hospital during COVID. She was a floor doctor and been assigned to my case. I liked her instantly and I asked if she would be my doctor since my personal doctor had moved away. She agreed and I have been her patient ever since. She is very proactive and makes sure that I have regular lab work, x-rays and density tests. She has referred me to excellent specialists and I have total confidence in the care she provides.

Dr Sandhoo has been my doctor for over 15 years. The staff is friendly and supportive. I have found Dr Sandhoo is attentive caring and supportive, she is one of the few doctors that conducts physicals: EKG, chest X-rays yearly mammograms and 2 yr bone density screenings. I’ve been able to get same day s Appointments. As Doctors leave Shasta co I am so happy to have Dr Sandhoo has my doctor.

Dr Gurpreet Singh is a very thorough doctor. She cares about her patients entire wellbeing. Her practice is clean, inviting, and relaxing. Her staff is friendly, caring, and nonjudgemental. You won't find a better doctor and staff in Northern California.

My husband and I have been patients of Gurpreet Sandhoo D.O for several years and are very pleased and satisfied with the medical care provided. Dr. Sandhoo is extremely knowledgeable, competent and thorough. She listens, is personable and is available after hours via phone, text and email. Prior to transferring my care to Dr. Sandhoo, I had been followed by another local physician who had never bothered to run regular blood panels or the DEXA test, despite my having all the risk factors for osteoporosis. Dr. Sandhoo immediately tested for and diagnosed both osteoporosis and a hematological condition; instituting appropriate treatment including a referral to a hematology specialist at UCSF. Recently, a lung nodule was noted on my annual chest x-ray. Again she pursued a thorough diagnostic work-up including close monitoring by an oncology pulmonologist at UCSF. Dr. Sandhoo closely monitors and manages the chronic medical conditions of both my husband and myself, making… prompt adjustments as warranted. She refers to and obtains prompt appointments for her patients with qualified local specialists. Her staff is extremely competent, professional and helpful; exhibiting prompt follow-through in scheduling referrals, submitting medication prescriptions and in obtaining prior authorizations through our medical insurance. We feel privileged to have access to such exceptional medical care and consider both Dr. Sandhoo and her staff as family.

$1600/year for her Concierge service is not worth it. Her ability to communicate is lacking. She seems to lack the ability to actively listen to her patients. Miscommunication between her, the staff, and patients is a quite pronounced. This Concierge service sounds great and once you pay the annual fee, you find out it is too good to be true. It is not worth the added cost. The Mayo Clinic provides true "executive" service. Her "executive" service is by far sub-par. Don't waste your money.

I wait over an hour for every visit. I personally know a staff member and they said she gives them bonuses for over booking. The more the office makes the higher their bonus. I started making my appt first appointment of the day or the first one after lunch. Due to being so over looked I seldom leave with unanswered questions cause she is always in a rush. She sees 20 to 30 pt's in four hours. Tell me how much time she is really spending with her patients.. My pharmacy tried getting my prescriptions filled for three weeks. I personally had to go to the office and wait for them to write one cause I was totally out of my blood thinners and blood pressure medicine. With that said I had to drive to her office and i live about 35 miles. This was also after me making several calls. I will be looking for a new physician. Unless you like sitting in the waiting room for at least 45 mi.utes and not getting your life threatening medicine ontime I would not suggest going here
