If you are an older female and white, this doctor is degrading, minimizing and literally speaks down to you. If you mention a medical term from a report, he says you must have googled it instead of asking him. I would NOT recommend him.

I was given Dr. Ortega when my doctor retired. I hope to never see him again. If I get sick I will go to a walk-in clinic.

I am surprised at these low ratings. I love Dr. Ortega as he takes the time to talk with me and make sure I understand my medications. Additionally he makes sure I am up to date with annual tests such as a mammogram, A1C, etc.

NOT SURE WHY THERE ARE MANY BAD REVIEWS ON THIS DOCTOR . HE'S SO WONDERFUL AND KIND. HIS STAFF WAS ALL SO FRIENDLY AND IT'S A FUN ENVIRONMENT TO BE IN . I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHYSICIAN

This health provider was a disappointment. His social skill set needs a lot of work. A cold, uninterested practitioner who interrupted the consultation, my first, to go off for ten minutes without explanation. Importantly, failed to take my vital signs, temperature, examine my throat, ears. Definitely not your father's doctor.
