Dr. Guy Alan Crawford, MD

Chose this doctor because the reviews said he was caring and listened. That's not the doctor I met. He came in with two young women. Didn't explain who they were. They just made it more uncomfortable. Then I got hit with a bunch of judgmental questions. He seemed to think I was lying about my family history. Made a bunch of assumptions about my job and benefits. Seemed to get mad when I told him his assumptions were wrong. I was really overwhelmed by the badgering when he finally asked about why I was there. He then told the young woman entering info into the computer to put I was a "drug seeker". I don't think he was kidding. He was cold and made a lot of snide comments. Then to top it off I had mentioned I thought I had a selective eating disorder and was concerned about malnutrition. He never said anything to me about my diet and only ridiculed me for exercising less. My patient care summary paperwork was full of stuff about overeating. Google selective eating and you'll find it's… not about overeating. Fat people have eating disorders too. I expect better from medical professionals especially when I flat out say I want help. Eye rolls don't help.

I went with my 93 year old mother, Edna Hedges, to visit Dr. Crawford on Jan. 3rd of this year. We needed a referral for a dermatologist. Mom had just had a check-up in Oct. but he was still very thorough asking her questions and listening to her. Also I loved it that he spoke up when I told him she is hard of hearing. A very kind man. Stephanie and Rita Anne were also very sweet. I strongly recommend this doctor and appreciate all he is doing for my mom. I live in Athens, Greece so it's good to know she's in good hands!
