He wasn’t rude outright, but he clearly had decided he had no interest in my case. Although he claimed he was the right doctor to help me but that he decided not to help. When asked logical questions about how he made his decision to not intervene he would not provide answers. Basically it’s a prejudice to not intervene in cases he finds complex without full diagnostic work up. And don’t think your input as the patient matters.

If you are looking for a really kind and talented plastic surgeon then Dr. Stofman is the person for you. He performed plastic surgery on the face of my child and he was amazing. So talented and kind....his staff (Amy the PI) is amazing too. I can't recommend him enough.

We used Dr. Stofman for a rhinoplasty on a family member. His work is wonderful; he is calm and patient and answered all our questions. His staff is great too. He is the best in the business.

In 2017 I was bitten in the face by our new family dog. I had to have a skin graft and 4 surgeries and now it is AMAZING how my face looks. One year later and you can barely see where the scar is. I thank God everyday that I was sent to UPMC Mercy and I was put in the care of Dr. Stofman. His staff is AMAZING also. I will be forever grateful!

It has been almost 20 years ago when I lost my right breast to cancer, Dr. Stofman did my breast reconstruction by doing a tram flap operation where they take my tummy fat and muscle and make a new breast. (and getting a tummy tuck as well). I am 71 years old now and my body still looks beautiful for my age. I am now considering a chin lift and will call on Dr. Stofman again soon. Linda Fisher

Ignorant Insulting Pompous

I just have to say that I found Dr. Stofman and his staff to be wonderful!! Right from the start I was greeted by friendly staff. His PA is so sweet and the Dr. himself is so kind and made sure that I completely understood the procedure. I would highly recommend and trust Dr. Stofman for any procedure that I might have in the future.

I had my eyes done. I was very nervous about cosmetic surgery but my eyes were so dark and puffy. I meant with Dr. Stofman and he was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. I booked that day. My results are excellent. I would highly recommend Dr. Stofman the difference he made is unbelievable and so natural looking. His staff was terrific. Thank you Dr. Stofman

The office staff is nice and that is about the only good thing. He is the rudest man I have ever met. He kept bringing me back every six months to check on my nose For two years.From the very follow up he kept insisting my nose was symmetrical, even though it was not. Well from the pictures I have it is not, the left side is thinner than the right, the bridge is caved in on the left side and the bone is pushed out on the right side. Don't give this butcher a chance to ruin your face. Plus his bed side manner is horrible. We was bragging about how great his eye lift look. Don't I look great he said. The last time I saw him I left in tears. Truly a terrible Doctor.

I found Dr. Stofman and his staff very friendly, courteous and professional!! My surgery, and what I should expect while recovering was explained in a manor that I could understand. I highly recommend Dr. Stofman and his staff!! I'm thrilled with the outcome of my surgery!!! Thank you Dr. Stofman!!
