Dr. Robert Gaetano

Robert Gaetano, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University graduating summa cum laude. He did his externship at Chillicothe Veteran’s Administration Hospital in 1989 and completed his undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University in 1985. Dr. Gaetano specializes in multifocal contact lens fittings. He feels it is rewarding to help someone who has stopped wearing contact lenses because they’ve become presbyopic and can't see to do their work without putting on reading glasses. Dr. Gaetano says patients are benefitting from the new optical multifocal technology in today’s contact lenses. Having experienced his own visual and ocular issues as a child, it was Dr. Gaetano’s optometrist who inspired him to become an optometrist. He wanted to help people the same way he was helped. Dr. Gaetano feels honored to care for his patients’ needs and enjoys seeing the smile on their faces when they solve their vision care needs. When Dr. Gaetano isn’t treating …patients, he enjoys snow skiing, jogging, hiking, fishing and swimming. He also enjoys spending time with his best friend who is his wife and their three incredible children, as well as their two dogs and one cat, who complete their family.
