Dr. Habib Ali Ismail, MD

We were referred by our pediatrician to go see doctor Ismael. When we arrived at the SanDimas location I was disappointed by the office building. It was run down and the receptionist was not nice at all. The wait time was only about 10min. which was great since I had my four kids with me. Dr. Ismael had us go into his office and took about 20 or 30 min just talking to us and writing everything down. He was very patient and interested in what we had to say. We then went into an exam room and he got down at my daughter's level to observe her ( she is only 18mths). Again, he was very patient and not rushed at all. He has a very soothing and mild disposition and makes you feel at ease. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Horrific! Do not come here office staff is horrendous and change your appointment at the last second and then call you a liar and raise their voices at you if you start to question them

I can't get a hold of him or a staff member to get answers about a medication. I called his office in San Dimas and as soon as I said we see him in Pomona the receptionist said "Sorry we have nothing to do with that office, I can't answer questions." Same doctor different office! WTH! RUDE!

The doctor is good and was caring, but the staff is slow to respond to things needed for example, I am still waiting(it's been 3 weeks) for a call to see how much I will need to pay for a copy of the doctors notes and diagnosis and then I will have to go in and pay and still wait for them to mail it! And, this is needed for my daughters school before a meeting if I ever get them on time!!! And the receptionist seemed not to interested in what I needed.

After 3 weeks this office couldn't get an MRI authorized from my insurance. My insurance wanted to talk to the doctor to understand why he wanted an MRI. The doctor refused to call. So no MRI, no calls from his staff and no diagnosis. I found a new neurologist and have had no issues with insurance or testing authorizations. And I don't wait over 2 hours in the doctors office. Dr Ismail's staff is incompetent and he is unwilling to get his patients what they need. Don't see this doctor.
