Dr. Habib Nathan, MD

20 years ago I went to this doctor to help with depression. He told me that I likely had anti-social personality disorder after seeing me for a total of eight minutes. I was a young female suffering from depression and he was trying to convince me that I was a sociopath. I was alarmed and he told me that he had good success with antisocial personality disorder and to make a follow up visit with him. On my next visit he only focused on a slight curve I have in my spine. Never mentioned anything about our prior visit. He insisted that he would need to take me to another room and have me disrobe so he could take a better look at my spine. When I balked, he tried to tell me I was being uncooperative with my therapy and that he was only interested because his wife was a doctor who specialized in spine treatment. I have been to many therapists over the years and none have them have seen any sign of anti-social behavior. Furthermore, there truly isn't any real cure for… antisocial behavior. He was just a bizarre man who used his practice to manipulate a young woman to disrobe for him. I guess he was practicing psychological projection when he diagnosed me as a sociopath. Glad I ran out of his office and never looked back.

80's & am in need of a neurologist. I was just curious about whatever happened w this guy. I was relieved at the number of reviews w dissatisfied patients, as I am no longer curious. I was right back then & I am now convinced. I had a "growth" at the base of my brain & his solution was to hypnotize me. NO WAY!!!I I HAD A GUT FEELING ABOUT HIM THEN & STILL DO NOW.. Hypnosis would not eliminate the growth & I FEARED what he might have me do if hypnosis was his solution. If his reviews r still this poor after DECADES, can u just imagine what he might have doneas a beginner (?!?!?!) My suggestion is to exactly as I did back then; PACK UR BAGS & RUN!!!! I did. My growth was dissolved w an injection.. ***The End***

I totally believe the poster's comment about Dr. Nathan. I saw him years ago, too. He had no tact whatsover.

Years ago this doctor insulted me when I asked about side efects and interactions of medications; he stated that I should go to medical school if I wanted that information. He also said I had a social phobia and should have an affair to help with the problem. He was very rude and disrespectful!
