Yes, I can do research and study things without going to school, and be more knowledgeable than the doctor in a particular area, even in medicine. Particularly about a specific condition that he rarely would see. Most doctors will ask the patient and family members for as much info as possible and will take the info into consideration. This doctor really thinks he knows it all and doesn't want to hear what you know from experience with your own self. He will tell you they have no idea the source of the problem yet, but then that they'll start looking into things the patient can rule out. As soon as we mentioned marijuana during the initial assessment, he says this likely is the cause of stomach pains, and should stop right away. Tried to explain the pain was at specific times and that marijuana use was consistent. He completely ignored that and got upset like how could I know more than him (maybe reading, studying, having IQ over 165). Bunch of tests and 6… hours later he still admits he has no idea, but that he wants to focus on the marijuana use. Usually you want to be 100% honest with your doctor to get accurate results, not to mention it's 2018 and we're in California. We should really never question doctors though, I mean up until 1924 Heroin was prescribed to treat morphine addiction. Are we not glad someone questioned that? If everyone had this doctor's mindset we might still be performing lobotomies for extreme personality disorders. Everyone can be wrong, including myself. It's what we do with the contradicting information that makes us wise or foolish regardless of ability to learn or memorize. If we dismiss it without any consideration, it's very foolish, and we will never become any wiser or more knowledgeable.

The doctor was more concerned about increased earning and then lied about insurance coverage when questioned.

One of the most professional and caring doctor I have ever met. Not to mention resourceful and knowledgeable. A doctor with integrity nowaday is hard to find. Thank you Dr. Lin

These days, a good, caring doctor is hard to find. Dr. Lin was one of the most personable Dr. I have ever had. He is patient and answered all my questions in a caring and understanding manner.

my mother went to the Er and this doctor refused to treat my mother. He treated her like she was insignificant. My mom is a nurse, I'm a nurse, and this Doctor refused to give my mom anything for the pain after a very bad fall. She has almost every disk out in her back and he thought she was a drug seeker. Fundamentals .. a persons pain is whatever they say it is. I've been dealing with my moms medical condition for over 15 years. Doctor like this think they know what every patient is like as soon as they walk though the doors. Unprofessional and rude.
