Hajir Zohourian, DO

Hajir Zohourian, DO, is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiology and provides comprehensive cardiac care. He has special interest in interventional echocardiography that is used to guide and support structural heart disease interventions, such as heart valve replacements.
Dr. Zohourian earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and completed both his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Early diagnosis and prevention are at the center of Dr. Zohourian’s approach to care. “I advocate for aggressive management of heart disease in younger patients, aiming to alter or delay the progression of heart conditions. At the same time, I am a proponent of conservative management for older adults, carefully balancing treatment to ensure quality of life and safety.”
Away from work, Dr. Zohourian is an avid nature enthusiast. He enjoys new adventures and …summiting mountains, continually seeking to push his physical and mental limits. He also owns a Briard dog named Barkley who enjoys catching tennis balls and swimming any chance he gets.
