Dr Hajra I. Tily, MD

I have fibromyalgia. Dr. Tily told me my fingers and toes were all crooked and i needed x-rays because i probably had arthritis along with the fibro. xrays came back perfect and none were crooked. She also told me that CBD is a narcotic, which is concerning she stated this, because it’s not. My father was in Drug Investigations and said it absolutely is not. Coming from a doctor, its quite scary how adamant she is about that. I also asked her for a note that I needed to cancel career testing as I could not physically pursue the career anymore. She said she would write a note saying I saw her, but would not say anything about my condition because “fibromyalgia is not a disabling condition”. When I have nights I can’t stand up, hold a cup in my hand, or walk properly, I believe that is classified as disabling. If she doesn’t have the disorder, she does NOT have the right to state it is not disabling.

I WAS DIAGNOISED AND HAD RUTOXIN AND CYTOXIN FOR LUPUS. HAD A SPINAL TAP TO GET TRUE NUMBERS OF LUPUS. WAS TOLD THE NUMBERS WERE HIGH. I DID NOT WANT TO TRAVEL TO THE BAY AREA SO WENT TO THIS DR. AFTER A FEW VISITS 4 AT THE MOST. SHE DID NOT WANT TO SEE ME ANYMORE DUE TO NUMBERS BEING ALL OVER THE CHART HER WORDS. I FEEL VERY SICK AS I DID WHEN I WAS GETTING THE CHEMO FOR IT BUT SHE SAYS DIFFERENT. NO LUPUS OR NUMBERS ARE VERY LOW..NOW FROM HER REPORT ANOTHER RHEUMMY TOLD ME THE SAME THING... IM IN SEVERE PAIN , HAIR LOSS ,ANOREXIA ECT.LABS FROM ENDO ARE VERY HIGH. NOW IM AT A LOSS DUE TO HER STATING THAT ON MY RECORD. SHE IS PLEASANT, AND QUICK.BUT DOES NOT TAKE THINGS I SAID SERIOUS. I FELT I HAD FINALLY FOUND A DR. I COULD TRUST AND WAS CLOSE AND DID NOT HAVE TO TRAVEL..IM 65 IN OCT. 66 . MY PRIMARY HAS NO CLUE AS TO WHAT TO DO DUE TO THIS REPORT FROM HER..SORRY I SWITCHED AND TOOK HER RATINGS AS A GREAT DR..MY HEALTH IS SEVERE ..

I saw her for the first time in October and my condition worsened even after multiple messages into December she still did nothing but tell me she would see me at my follow up, even though I needed a cane to walk.

I came to Dr. Tily for a 2nd opinion re: my bout with Temporal Arteritis and was delighted at her candor and frank discussion of my past treatment and her recommendations for ongoing treatment. Both my wife and I decided to follow her directions and switch to her practice.

I am so glad that I found Dr. Tily. She is my favorite doctor! She listens to me, supports me, and truly cares about my well being. It is so refreshing to be treated with respect. She really puts me at ease and creates a sense of optimism in me. I am facing a terrible disease but I have an incredible doctor to lead me through the battle. I finally found what I was looking for in a Rheumatologist! .

One of the oddest appts I ever had. Basically asked me how my life was going, did a limited exam, saud she was not going to run any tests then gives me a hand out on Fibromyalgua! Since then, therevarecquestions about some of my blood work another doctor ran. Too bad we are so limited to good specialists in this area but I will be seeking a new doctor! Nice lady but will not return.

Dr. Tily is great. She always spends time with me and follows up with all her emails and messages within 24 hours. She even makes personal calls when you have a question about your labs. Wont be changing her anytimes soon.
