Haley Newton, DO

Went in with a sharp pain in my abdomen, and I explained to Dr. Haley Newton that I haven’t had a pain this severe since I had mono when I was 16 and peeing blood. I told her I was a college athlete and I’m pretty tough. I know my body, and I know something is wrong. Dr. Haley Newton told me to go home and take a hot bath. She did NOT do any urine sample or blood work. I let two days pass, and Friday evening I ended up in an Urgent care ER, puking waiting for the other doctor. Turns out I had a kidney infection that was about to turn sepsis had I not gotten it treated. There was no excuse for Dr. Newton, at the very least, to take a urine sample. This was 3 years ago, and I’m still very upset about this experience. Please stay far away from this doctor. She does not care, and her action was inexcusable.
