Dr. Halland Chen, MD

I was referred to the Vein Institute and Pain Centers of America by an administrative assistant at my former pain management doctors office. When i first came to the office it was for my back pain and Dr. Halland Chen took care of me and gave me epidural injections. After that my back felt very good and i had instant pain relief. I then had been referred to get an Ultrasound done on my veins because i was experiencing pain in my legs and they decided to go forward in fixing my veins to prevent me from getting any venous disease later on. My vein procedures were done by Dr. Michael and after all of the procedures were completed i instantly felt great and had less pressure on my legs. All the doctors were fantastic and gave me a better understanding on how the whole body works and what the medications i was given can and cannot do. The staff was also so great,helpful, and informative. They were very professional and made sure to stay on top and remind me of any upcoming appointments i… had. I would easily refer anyone who is having any of these issues to the Vein Institute and Vein Centers of America.

The office is very polite and cheerful and they made the appointments to book easy. Dr. Halland really understood what was going on with my hair and solved the problem of my thinning hair. I had seen 3 doctors prior and they were unable to fix my alopecia areata, but Dr. Halland was able to find a solution to help my hair my hair come back in just a short period of time, I was seeing results. I did a combo of PRP and Acell. I highly recommend to anyone seeking hair growth solutions and will definitely come back.

I was Dr. Chens patient when he was @ Beth Israel medical center. I had been passed from 1 Dr. to the next for yrs. After giving up that I would ever have the connection w/a CONCERNED Dr. I needed to start healing after being paralyzed & having 3 spinal surgeries, I was blessed w/this angel. This man is the BEST OF THE BEST! It doesn't get any better. He cares, listens, and goes WAY OUT OF HIS WAY FOR HIS PATIENTS! And he makes you feel comfortable and cared about. I LOVED him w/all my heart and he helped me greatly when I needed it most. My only regret is that I cant still be his patient as I have moved away..I could go on & on about how wonderful and competent I know this man to be, but suffice it to say, you will be very happy you found him!!
