Doctor great - staff not so much

Absolutely horrible office staff. Very condescending and unhelpful. Worst experience ever. Will never go back.

Great Doctor.

My experience was not good. I am poverty level and I get my medication free. After a recent visit with the doctor, I dropped off my papers to be signed by her to have Abbott send me my synthroid free. She would not sign them unless I made another appointment, which I did.,She insisted she saw nothing in the generic that I had explained I was allergic to. So she gave me a script for the generic. She insisted I try it (which I had already done). She filled out the papers and when I checked out, she charged me $125.00 just to sign my papers. I certainly thought that showed a lack of compassion because if I put twenty dollars to that I could have bought my meds over the counter. She had not even listened to my heart ; that kind of money just to sign her name. And the kicker to this whole episode is that I did get the generic filled for four dollars and had hives all over my legs when I took it. Another one that does not LISTEN to the patient.

I have seen Dr. Chaim over the past eight years and she is one of the best complementary physicians in Florida. She offers a balance between traditional and alternative medicine, and is very knowledgeable about both medications and nutritional supplements. She listens attentively and goes out of her way in order to make sure that all my questions are answered. Her staff is always helpful and they make me feel at home. She has always prescribed Armour Thyroid for me without any trouble at all, so I seriously question the veracity of one of the negative postings I see here. In short, Dr. Chaim is a knowledgeable and caring physician who can help you get your life back!

Dr. Chaim was referred to me by a good friend who knew I was looking for a caring physician and I was not disappointed. She was knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. Yes, she ordered bloodwork. It was necessary and showed many problems I didn't know I had. Would and have recommended her to several people who are looking for a physician who doesn't automatically buy into the "drugs are needed" philosophy in medicine. Purchased some OTC supplements from her, as I am familiar with the line she carries, but was certainly not forced. I could have gone to W..Mart and purchased lesser quality. I was my choice. All in all, she has become my permanent physician!

This doctor doesn't talk to her patients. She likes to order frequent bloodtests. Doesn't know anything about HRT or Hypothyroidism although she says she's an expert. She is afraid to prescribe Armour Thyroid as the FDA is promoting synthetic thyroid for the drug cartels. She pretends to be an expert, but certainly is not. Just does labwork to cover her butt in prescribing drugs. Try's to sell OTC items to her patients even though they are not going to help your condition.
