Dr. Harbir Singh Sekhon, MD

I been on meds for quite sometime due to my childhood trauma. He doesnt know me and was making assumptions. He was very rude and inconsiderate to my needs. He was raising his voice at me in a hostile manner as if I wasn't a human being or beneath him. He made unnecessary remarks that made me feel degraded and insulted. He wasn't willing to listen to what I had to say and was talking over me so I wasn't able to speak. He also mentioned that he would reduce my meds overnight and when I disagreed with his assessment he said if I don't like what he had to say to go see my previous doctor which would be impossible because my previous doctor retired. He began to lie about my previous doctors on file being under investigation by DEA. I have nothing to hide and my file is open. I haven't done anything wrong. If anyone who tries to see this doctor run as far away from this doctor and practice as possible. I wouldn't recommend anyone get their care with him. After during his session he… triggered my anxiety to the point where I couldn't function the rest of the day because the way he made me feel. I had a hard time eating and sleeping. From my experience he should have his license to practice revoked for professional misconduct. Do not seek professional care from Dr. Harbir Sekhon. He will not help you.

Saw Doc thru the VA . Great guy ! Relates so well with us vets . Saved my life and marriage . Helped me deal with a lot of stuff . Sorry to see he left the VA. All the good ones do

I’ve seen him for 5 years . Great human being and physician. Excellent with marital therapy and medication treatments . Helped my ADHD without giving me substance abuse and brought my wife’s depression under control

I am a combat wounded veteran with a Purple Heart and Bronze Star . Shot down in Vietnam twice . Live in St Louis now. I was told by a fellow vet about some nonsense someone wrote . All I can say is that in the 3 years I was treated by Dr Sekhon , he was very kind , patient and professional . Even called me regularly after I moved to St Louis .I believe he retired from the VA in 2023 . God bless him . I don’t think anyone writing bogus complaint could be a real veteran

I have seen this doctor for over 4 years at the Bay Pines VA . I’m sorry that he retired in October 2023 . He was very professional and helped me a lot with PTSD issues from Vietnam . Literally saved my life twice . I feel bad that some vet with high BP and SI felt he had to hide behind the internet to talk nonsense about this fine doctor almost an year after he retired , instead of getting proper help from him and the VA

Horrible physician. Saw him for a VA appointment 2 years ago and explicitly said “if what you’re telling me is true then I should have you hospitalized immediately” when I opened up about my SI two weeks prior. Continued to tell me that I shouldn’t have issues related to my service 5 years after they occurred. His words and insensitivity left such an impression that my anxiety spiked and at a different doctors office the NEXT day my BP was STILL 190/110. If you’re a perspective patient, recommend looking elsewhere. Doctors like him should not be allowed to interact with veterans.
