Dr. Hari Perali, MD

I would not recommend Dr. Perali to anybody. Dr. Perali was nice the first time I met him, later he was cold, rude and had no respect for us. He showed us two sides of him. The bad side we experienced time and time over after the first visit. I was there with my very ill, husband who was nearing death. I was my husband's caretaker and needed to come to his appointments to be able to hear what the doctor had to say and to be able to speak to the doctor in order to know all about his condition. I was the one who knew his medical history and all the dates and could tell him in detail what was wrong. My Husband wanted me to speak for him, because I could explain his illness more accurately, because he could not remember all the dates, when what happened. When I did not go with my husband and my husband had all the important info. on a note, the Doctor told him, he did not have time to read the note. Maybe he could not read?? He took NO interest in hearing what was going on… during the last few weeks or months, many Urgent Care visits, Hospital visits and Doctor visits to specialists and the reasons for them. My husband had not seen Dr. Perali in a long time, not since 2019 before the pandemic started. The very last time we saw him before switching to a new Doctor, Urgent Care had made an appointment for my husband with Dr. Perali, to follow up with him. The Doctor came into the room in a big hurry, looked at me, the wife, real mean and cold and told me that he will not talk to me what so ever, only to the patient, before I was even able to say one word. I told him, I was the one who had all the details and he was rude and disrespectful to me and said, only to the patient. He did not want to hear the reason for the visit, which was that my husband had been very ill for 2 months, had surgery and many other problems since and had been in the hospital. He said, he wanted to hear only about today, why he was there that day. He was there that day because of all the problems he had for many months and still had them and they kept getting worse. Anyway, the visit was a total waste of time, he did not even explain the test results and basically was in and out fast, allowed no time for questions, he did all the talking, but nothing that did my husband any good. I had a feeling that he also does not respect women, they are supposed to be seen not heard and to him a lower class and he is above them. He is arrogant and acts like he is above the patient as well and me in my opinion, and does not do his job like he should. He allows no more than 15 minutes and has the nurse come in after 15 minutes to say that the next patient is waiting. He gets up and says, we are done here, I have no more time for you, and walks out. After he insulted us this way that last time, we never went back and found another very caring, good doctor for my husband, who listened to both of us and wanted to hear all we had to report and ask and he answered our questions and had no problem me talking for my husband. That new doctor took very good care of my husband and we could tell that he was kind and caring. Dr. Perali has no compassion, not even when he knows his patient is dying and is going through a hard time and so is his family. I have never been treated in such a cold and disrespectful way by any doctor. I could have cried. I felt like telling him what I thought, but he would probably have called Security and would have had us removed. I kept my mouth shut, because my husband's life depended on a doctor. No bedside manner. He should not even be a doctor, because he does not care about the patients or their families. He became a doctor in another Country. Evidently they treat patients and their families different from what they do in USA. They must be teaching the doctors in USA good bedside manor, to be nice and kind. That must not be the case in all Countries. If Doctors from another Country start treating patients in the US, they should have to learn to treat them just as nice as the US doctors treat their patients. If they can't do that, they have no business being a doctor anywhere.

I saw this doctor and a different office, So I cannot speak to the office staff quality. He is no longer at the office I used to go to but is missed.
