I am 74 years old and have Congestive Heart Failure, Liver disease, Chronic Anemia, Lupus and Diabetes. Dr. Thakkar has saved my live on multiple occasions. When other doctors had given up up, Dr. Thakkar compassionately looked for alternate medications and worked with specialists to ensure my wellbeing. Dr. Thakkar has an excellent clinical eye. He takes his time to understand my fragile healthy equilibrium through a holistic approach. I appreciate his staff, they are practical and aim to resolve issues on the spot. They always try to accommodate me on short notice. If it wasn't for Dr. Thakkar, I would not be writing these lines. May God bless and protect you and your family.

Changing internists was the best thing I did. Dr. Thakkar takes time to explain, shows interest and much concern in his patients healthcare. Being a patient that was seeing somebody else for years, and thinking wonderful things about my healthcare visits, am now realizing I was not the important one at the visit. I was there only for the doctor to bill my insurance. With Dr. Thakkar showing me the rights and wrongs with his concerns, knowledge and answers, I know I am in the right place. Best choice for my husband and I.

If you want a Dr that writes down every detail about your reason for your visit, keeps meticulous records, and has that personal connection to you and your medical background, Dr Thakkar is for you. It might take a little time for him to see you bc he ensures the patient he's attending has 100% of his attention. Be patient, it won't be long, and when it's your turn, you will have his full, undivided attention.

Dr. Thakkar is a great doctor. I wish his staff was as friendly. The girls up front were gossiping the entire time and were using inappropriate language. They seemed very ghetto and used a lot of slang. Dr. Thakkas is so sweet and spents a lot of time with patients...which means I had a 3PM appt. And i wasnt seen till 4:45. I wasn't very happy waiting
