Dr. Harley Alfred Grim, MD

Dr. Grimm is the best Doctor I have ever come across. I had suffered 3 miscarriages prior to seeing him and no other doctor cared to figure out why. When I got pregnant the 4th time I went to him from a friend/current patient referral. He immediately did testing and found I had low progesterone, which could have been an easy fix with my prior pregnancies. He consistently checked to make sure everything was going well and was right there to ease my mind - thanks to him I have 2 beautiful children. BTW, the person below who gave 1 star... I don't want to take away from her feelings, but he was honest and direct with her and it seems she did not like being told the truth. Yes, not all overweight women have irregular cycles, but in your case he was trying to tell you that is what it is. He does not lie or sugarcoat things as he has to do right by his title of doctor and not tell you something you want to hear, but rather what will help your issue.

I was referred to Dr. Grim when I first moved to Cinci from NY a few years ago and desperately looking for an experienced specialist who would be there to make sure I didn't have to experience another C.Section. After 3 successful births, I say... I have nothing but complements for him and the entire staff. My experience so far has been very pleasant. I wish he was my PCP, OBGYN, Pediatrician etc all rolled up in one. He is very caring and his heart is in the job. He pays attention, looks at you and is upfront and honest. I recommend him any day.

very nice office Dr. Grim is attentive and knowledgeable. I love that he is the only Doctor I have to see which is great for relationship building.

I have 4 amazing and healthy children thanks to Dr. Grim. I had one high risk pregnancy and 2 pregnancies with issues that came up but ended up being nothing and Dr. Grim was conservative and always erred on the side of caution. When I had a miscarriage, he was very kind and compassionate as was his staff. While in labor with my first he sensed the laid back a joking atmosphere my mom, DH, sister and I had established with the nurses and he joined right in on the relaxed atmosphere. My last pregnancy was twins and he was downright giddy as we got closer and closer to the due date without complications. I have always been overweight. Well, if I'm being honest-obese. He NEVER made me feel uncomfortable about it and only asked if I was doing any sort of exercise and encouraged simple walks for 30 minutes 5 times a week. He also never made me feel like I was making a bad move getting pregnant while obese. Also, if you have a question, Dr. Grim calls. His nursing staff… does not relay messages for him. You speak directly to the doctor. This applies to test results as well. Don't panic when he calls because he ALWAYS is the one who calls!! I happily recommend Dr. Grim to anyone who asks.

My small family moved from NY to Ohio 10 years ago and I was referred to him because I wanted a Dr. who would work with me and avoid a rush cesarean section job like my first birth experience back in NY. Since then we've added 3 more kids all delivered by Dr. Grimm and all healthy. He gave me personal attention, good advice, monitored my progress being high risk, may not be what I wanted to hear, but that saved my children's lives. Sometimes the truth can be a bitter pill to swallow and sometimes because of money, medicine is no longer noble nor honest. This is a family business, may be a little slow but well worth the sacrifice. My husband and I have a lot of respect for Dr. Grim. I wish he would be my regular physician who hardly looks me in the face and canâ??t wait to move on to next patient. I have since then made another referral whom is equally very happy.

Dr. Grim is the WORST doctor I have ever visited. He lives up to his name--GRIM, as in Grim Reaper. I went to him to get my menstrual cycle straightened out, After having a nonstop period since 13 years old, I thought he could help me. According to him, all overweight women have a constant period, and that if I would just lose weight it would stop. I know plenty of large women who are quite regular. He informed me that I should come back in a few weeks to see how the mega-doses of birth control were helping me. I spent an hour waiting and $20 for him to come in, look at my chart and tell me to lose weight and come back in a month. I never went back. I could have saved my self the time and money and just called him and told him I was overweight! What a jerk.

I went to him once and won't go back. I found him to be insensitive. While in a gown and giving me a breast exam, he asked how I would begin a weight loss program. If I wanted weight management, I would have gone to Weight Watchers; I went to him for a routine exam. How rude is that? Ugh........

When I moved from Florida, I thoguth I was done having babies. I had been wth the same OBGYN group since my first pap. So I was very scared to learn I was pregnant and did not even know of a doctor in the area, or a hospital that could take care of us. When I found Dr Grim my husband and I were sooo happy. He made us feel safe and secure, and we know our baby is being born to a doctor that loves his job and knows what he is doing. In my opnion Dr. Grim is the best obgyn in Ohio and I will tell everyone I know about him!
