Dr. Hefter has to be the most knowledgeable physician who I've gone to in a long time. After suffering with a paronychia for weeks on end and not being correctly treated by other physicians, I ended up with wonderful Dr. H. Within 2 days of his cauterizing my finger, it was back to its normal size. I can't recommend him enough!! FABULOUS doctor. The receptionist was kind of enough to fit me when she heard how long I was walking around with this. I am grateful to both of them.

Hi there! let me start off by saying that I live in New Jersey and Dr. Hefter is in New York. So in order to get my 10:30 AM appointment I leave my house at five in the morning so that I can miss the morning traffic I don’t do that it would take me four hours to get there. I think that tells you right there how valuable in my opinion Dr. Hefter is in so many ways. I did visit a dermatologist in New Jersey but the diagnosis and guidelines given to me really left me confused and be Willder did there was really noAnd without a true answer or protocol on how to proceed answer. So I knew I had to go to Dr. Hefter and I’m just thrilled that I’m able to do so and that I know about such a fantastic doctor I don’t write reviews online. But because this is important and when you need a doctor a good doctor you’re at your travel for one it’s so important to have referrals for healthcare. Dr. Hefter is the consummate professional he is meticulous and his work in his exam and everything that he… does he is completely present and fully focused on you at that moment. He is truly a gifted and brilliant physician and I trust his observations implicitly and completely.Now not only is he an excellent dermatologist he is a wonderful kind human being. He’s interested in you he asks you questions he makes you comfortable he alleviate your concerns puts puts your concerns and Balance and for me I mean he empowers me to feel better about myself and whatever situation or health challenge that I’m happen to be dealing with.He just neutralizes all my worrying fretting with his kindness is composed demeanor and his compassionate manner I just love that he takes time I never feel rushed I bring my list of questions and he he answers every question fully and completely. I am grateful to know to have a doctor like Dr. Health Hefter on my wellness team. And if I had to take a plane to see him and pay out of pocket I would that’s just how good he is all the best to whoever reads it reads this. I have been using Dr. Hefter for 30 years. For myself, my husband, my children and now my grandchildren. In this period of time we have used him for numerous things. Acne, growths, skin rashes, warts and now I had the pleasure of using him for fillers, Botox. and laser treatments With my children and grandchildren he always made them feel at ease and tried the less aggressive treatment first so it would be easier for the child. Once he has made the diagnosis he takes his time to think through the best treatment and explains it very well and also explains options. When I had the fillers I was amazed at how precise he was the results were awesome. When doing laser I felt confident that the machine Dr. Hefter suggested would give me the results I was looking for because he does much research before he uses any of his laser machines and for that matter the same with the fillers. He uses a variety of fillers and knows which kind of filler will work the best on that part of the face. I… highly recommend Dr. Hefter. I feel his expertise extends far beyond.

He always gives a very thorough exam and answers all the questions and concerns that we have. He is very patient, and we never felt that he was rushing from one patient to another. My son, who does not live in NY, had a major problem that required surgery. We didn’t know how to proceed and called Dr, Hefter for advice. After putting in a long day in his office, he took the time to call us that evening explaining our son’s options and referred us to a very qualified surgeon.
