Dr. Harold Neil Jacobson, MD

This was the worst “Dr” experience of my life. I don’t know if spoke to a real Doctor. If I did I feel worse than I did before we spoke. I was not heard, insulted, accused, disrespected, bullied, victimized and violated. Then had the audacity to attempt to collect payment for service Not rendered. H. Neil Jacobson you should be sued for mistreating a vulnerable patient seeking medical treatment. Malpractice Lawsuit is not the answer criminally compliant will be filed against you and your office. I requested an office visit and you scheduled a zoom meeting however I received a telephone call instead for a first time doctor appointment with a telephone diagnosis of being complicated and 50 pounds overweight. Based upon what I told you over the phone. You wanted to prescribe me drugs without doing any research or bloodwork on me. Then advised me to pay you $289 before giving me 3 prescriptions I didn’t want including "Oz"for weight loss you have no clue how that drug would affect me. I… don’t know how you legally practice medicine here in Texas but you should be in jail. This negligence severely triggered and traumatized me. I can’t trust anyone for help I believe this a sex trafficking ring and I’m afraid for my life. I need HELP

Dr Jacobson is a very good doctor and you can talk to him about anything! You are seen very quickly when you go see him !! He's been my doctor for years.Thank You Dr Jacobson

I didn't feel like Dr Jacobson cared about me trying to better myself and help me learn how to cope with and resolve my problems. I felt like he just got me in for my insurance check and then pushed me right back out the door as soon as possible. Every time I would mention that maybe I should seek therapy since the medication was not working, he would just suggest the he up my dose.

We booked and verified with the office manager well in advance that they were in network with Aetna. They took our insurance information days in advance and verified the copayment. After taking off work and waiting in their office for 30 minutes, the office manager said they would not take our insurance and we would need to pay $330.

This is the WORST DR. He should be in PRISON for what he does. He prescribed my husband medication that made him bipolar, delusional, suicidal, & have hallucinations. My husband has PTSD. The stimulants prescribed were excessive in the least. Thanks to Dr. Jacobson my husband has been in the hospital and I've almost lost him. After detoxing from the horrible drugs prescribed, Dr Jacobson prescribed the SAME ONES! 3 Months Later. TOTAL QUACK DOCTOR. Don't let your loved ones go HERE! Edit: Not on the meds my husband was successful, loving, kind, happy... loved by all. We have lost everything and I have come face to face with my worst nightmare.

Dr Jacobson takes the time to really consider what is important to your quality of life. When prescribing a medication for me, we reviewed possible side effects. The medication had a side effect that may interfere with my quality of life, he offered alternate options to try, until we got it right.

I went to him as advised by my primary MD for severe depression and uncontrolled anxiety. He was very cocky when we went in...and even made the comment that I looked beat down and on the verge of tears and then in the same breath asks why I asked for help now if I was already on an anti-depressant. Then he proceeds to convince me that I must be having nightmares and that's why I am so emotional and starts me on mini-press which is a heart/BP med FOR NIGHTMARES and tells me he will see me in 6 weeks. Total time 10 minutes. I was alotted an hour. And he has people shuffling in and out consistently with new scripts...maybe 5 minute sessions BUT I am sure he charges the insurance for a full visit. I told him I didn't even care if I died and he never looked up from his computer. Seriously?? Shameful.

He was a nightmare...

I can't believe we put up with this doctor as long as we did. The wait time is OUTRAGEOUS. The last visit we arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time, checked in, and promptly charged us close to $200. We paid in full, and then the waiting game began. By the time we got to see him, it was 1.5 hrs later! This wasn't the first time, not the second time, not even the third! I was furious. My time is just as previous as his. And as a psychiatrist, he should know that it doesn't take much to set off people with issue. We came to see him for a reason. All his did was apologizing for running late. This is not running late. This is poor time management. Period. When you do sit there, all he does is dispense prescription left and right. He is not even attempt to understand the underlying issue. We are looking for another doctor. Nobody has time nor patience for his poor time management and mediocre service.

Worst psychaitrist ever. Overly medicates you. Treats you as if he isnt listening to you with his smug smile and hands behind his head. I wish i could do to him what he did to me.
