Dr. Harold Richardson, MD

Dr. Richardson is 5 stars but the front desk ladies are unprofessional and inattentive. (less than 1 star) They chat among themselves and look put off when you walk up to ask a question. There are 4 or 5 of them and every time I call I'm on hold a minimum (absolute min) of 10 min. Go ahead give them a call yourself. Also, it's almost uncomfortable to be there in the lobby with them all chatting. You're relieved when they bring you out of that room to sit in the other room before you get to see the doctor. Dr. Richardson is one of the best doctors I've ever met. It's a shame he has to be misrepresented. Truly amazing doctor.

Poor bedside manner, let patient waiting for 30 min and gave a wrong diagnosis.

Overall Dr Richardson has done a great job in the year or so I have been seeing him. I like the offices and he did a good job diagnosing me based on symptoms with something others had missed.

This "Doctor" is a joke. He offered no help or suggestions and lacked any kind of empathy for reasons for visit. How he's been around all theses years is beyond me. See someone else, anybody else.....you'd be better off with a vet then him. Yikes!

This is very difficult for me to talk about, and has taken a years to even get me to this point. Facts- Wife had lower belly pain Dr.Richardson was available same day (poss red flag) Met wife at Dr apt over lunch hour. Richardson did a OBGYN procedure!!!-asked us if we had any other sex partners with no explanation for the question just example of another couple and how one of them was sleeping around but accusing us of/ ADULTERY! and said he will take some blood and call us with results in 2-3 days. We walked out of there in a daze???? Fast forward we decided to go to emergency room 2 hours post Richerdson MISS-DIAGNOSIS/ACCUSATION my wife went into emergency surgery 6pm same day due to over a liter of fluid in abdomen. By the grace of God we did not trust him and we were in excellent shape due to training for charity bike ride may have saved her life definitely saved transfusion. The problem was a burst cyst on Ovary with blood vessel/vein in or on cyst. My wife is in good health and… the most beautiful best friend I could ever dreamed I would have(bad scar) Im sorry I did not have the strength to do this sooner. BEWARE I see some parallels in other posts, I hope you see them also. ACCOUTABILITY would be fitting.

I am very disappointed with how Dr Richardson blatantly treats his patients with no real sustenance and prejudice on his ideas of how you should or shouldn't be. His office lost my son's files from 1997-2006 and were not helpful AT ALL in trying to get his immunization records for his college application, and I had to get an unnecessary shot for him MRP (which I knew he already had - because he couldn't have gone through public school all these years without it!) - in which cost me $350 out of pocket of unnecessary expense. ALSO - in dealing with a loss of employment and healthcare coverage - the doctor's office REFUSED to renew my blood pressure medications (after 10 years of being on the same meds) because I didn't want to pay the $300 fee to come into Dr Richardson's office to tell me "yep - you still need the same meds - let me get you a prescription". NO EMPATHY - they are only in it for the bottom dollar. Would NOT recommend him as a family practitioner. VERY… disappointed in the way he has treated my son and me over the years. Should have left this doctor years ago...was trying to stay with the convenience of location...it is so hard to just up and find a good doctor on your own. You can't really research them...

Dr. Richardson missed my husbands cancer. He said he was crazy and there was nothing wrong with him but now he is undergoing a stem cell transplant. shame on this doctor i think he needs to go back to school to learn how to become a real doctor

I have seen this doctor and he rushes in and rushes out. He does not take the time to answer my questions. When I asked him a question he was up set with me. I would never go back to this doctor. He does not have the right characteristics of a human being nor is a good doctor nor have the knowledge of one. He does his work based on timing and how much money he can bring in. I would not recommend this one to any who is looking for good doctor.
