Dr. Harold Lewis Zimmer, MD

In 2019 I had my first baby and had the absolute pleasure of having Dr Zimmer as my OBGYN. Hands down Dr Zimmer was the best doctor I have ever had! He was patient, educational, kind, thorough, and took every concern seriously! He has since retired after I had my baby, and no obgyn I’ve had for any of my other kids even came close to being as good of a Dr as Zimmer. I really hope Zimmer is doing well and is enjoying his well deserved retirement.

My favorite doctor I have ever encountered. Never felt rushed, all my questions were answered so thoroughly. Dr. Zimmer made me appreciate my pregnancy journey with it’s most easiest first two trimesters and quite more challenging third one. Through it all he keeps me in great spirit.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Zimmer for almost 15 years now. He’s never once made me feel judged, uncomfortable or rushed. My questions are always answered professionally and informatively. I’ve had to wait due to an emergency before but I was notified and given the choice to do so right away. I’ve recommended him to many people and multiple friends of mine see him now. If you’re looking for a doctor who truly cares about your well being, acknowledges and address your questions and concerns, Dr. Zimmer is the one!

Dr. Zimmer is extremely knowledgeable but also very laidd back. He was awesome for my first pregnancy and so wonderful for my second pregnancy when I miscarried. My husband and I both felt so at ease with him. I noticed that some of these reviews mentioned that he ran behind. If that was the case I can tell you that it's because he spends so much time with you and never rushes you through your apt. His nurse and medical assistant are also fantastic.

Dr. Zimmer is a GREAT doctor - He calmed me down for every issue I was concerned about with my first baby and took extra time whenever needed to answer all of my questions, even if they might have been silly. I was so crushed when he was not on call when I had my first baby - but he was able to deliver my second baby! Again, so cool and calm and wonderful during every appointment. I freakin' LOVE Dr. Zimmer. Yes, I know that sometimes their facility is WAY overbooked or WAY running late, and so you might have to wait longer than you should. But of all of the times I had to go there, this only happened about 3-4 times.Totally recommend Dr. Zimmer with all my heart!!

If you like waiting and waiting and waiting and then getting into an exam room and getting ready for your exam and waiting and waiting again. Without the courtesy of either the doctor, nurse or clinic staff paying any attention to you--this is the clinic and doctor for you. I prefer a doctor interested in my health and me.

The first appointment I had with Dr Zimmer was very nice and I think he is probably a good Doctor.Since then I have had almost no luck getting in to see a Dr. There is always an emergency with someone else but I believe it must be an office management problem because I'm about to have this baby and have not seen a doctor in months. I go to the appointments, I wait an hour or two, and then they cancel on me. I know it's late to be looking for a new doctor with the baby coming in a few weeks but I'm going to try.
