Dr. Harpaul Singh Gill, MD

My first initial concern was that there is virtually no information on this doctor. No pictures of him or anything, we can get past that right? Upon reading reviews I was scared to send my husband there because everything was so negative, but he had already scheduled an appointment. All the bad reviews are all correct!! My husband had an appointment made for Grand Mal seizures. The office staff is incompetent and REFUSES to look up my husbands insurance information. He paid out of pocket for the first appointment because it is a necessary appointment and we waited 2 months for this appointment and didn’t want to miss it. They scheduled him for an EEG and when he showed up for the EEG the same woman (Ellie) REFUSED to look up his information for a second time. She points at and laughs at other patients as if she’s still in grade school. When you call the office it says they open at 8:30 am but I continue to be directed to the call service because even at 9:30 they still haven’t… connected their phones for the day, they also shut them off early before closing. They place me on hold and then never pick up. I am currently filing a formal complaint with the Texas Medical Board against this doctor and his office staff. I feel they are putting my husbands life at risk by not performing the proper testing due to laziness of office staff. The office staff also refuses you to talk with the doctor. They say he doesn’t take phone calls. They also prescribed him a seizure medication which has the side effects of (suicide, anger, attention problems, alopecia, blurred vision, etc). Still havent changed his medication because “the doctor doesn’t talker phone calls”. The woman (Ellie) who says she’s the office manager cussed at my husband, laughed at him and his situation in his face and then got up from her chair and began pointing in his face and yelling at him to leave because he simply asked “why don’t you want to do your job”. Her conduct was EXTREMELY juvenile and highly unprofessional. If you can’t get past the office staff to see the doctor then the competence of that doctor doesn’t even matter at that point. Not to mention that his practice is listed under his brothers ophthalmology practice. Everything about this office screams sketchy. Not a doctor you would want preforming life threatening diagnosis on you. Find a different doctor. This place shouldn’t even be in business

Waited on hold for 9min to be hung up on Acted as if i was bothering them when calling

We waited 2 months to see Dr. Gill and both times we have seen him we felt he was very distracted. On our follow-up visit he referred to things he thought he had told us but had not. We felt he was rushed and really more interested in someone else. We have another visit scheduled this summer and are hoping that at least his medical advice will bring results.

Was seen in the office for back pain and lump near spinal area,. Wait time was less than 20 min, He was very thorough with my examination along with educating me on what I might have before even ordering test. Once I had my imaging done I was given results within 48 hrs of having them done. Love the office and the staff is very pleasant. Highly recommend this office to anyone.

Setting up appts. Is very difficult because they rarely answer the phone and have an answering machine which asks you to call back. The staff at the front desk are rude at times. The first visit I waited over 2 hours to see the dr. Other occasions waited just as long only to see the nurse practitioner who knew nothing of me or my supposed condition. Would not recommend this Dr or office to anyone.

Waited 2hrs to see him on my first appt. Then at least an hour for my follow up visits. Poor bedside manner and lacks fund of knowledge. Decided to go to another neurologist who is great! I would not recommend Dr.Gill to any of my friends.

I had morning apointment and I had to wait a bit to see him but over the several visits I've had, I found him to be a brilliant doctor that genuinely cares about his patients wellness.
