I visit Dr Harriet after a therapist recommend to take my son for a checkup and we went there, she was very sweet and very honest, all the test she did were appropriately and my son feel safe. We like the way she explain everything to us. And are very happy that she was the one who took care of us

Dr. Cokely has been my Neurologist for over 15 years treating my MS. During that time she has saved my life on at least on one occasion...truly! What else needs to be written?

Dr. Cokely is a superb doctor that takes good care of her patients.

I took my son to Dr. Cokely for several years for support for his ADHD. She probably knows what she's doing, but she clearly had categorized my son as a certain kind of person, and criticized him for his weight every visit. I finally yanked him from her care when he was in middle school and, when she asked him what he wanted to do when he was gown and he answered, "Play for the NFL," she scoffed and said, "You have more of a chance of being struck by lightning than ever making that happen." He was livid and so was I. I did not bring my son to her for a referendum on his life dreams and she was completely out of line in her response. She is a cold person and no one who should be dialoguing with children with neurological issues who already don't have a particularly high opinion of themselves and their futures. Proceed carefully with her or look elsewhere.

Dr. Cokely has been my Neurologist for over 2+ decades; initially, for what appeared might be excruciatingly painful migraines but that did not respond to any pain meds ~ Dr. Cokely researched all symptoms, scans, and diagnosed Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia (rare: only 100 people in a million suffer from this neurological disorder; so most doctors have never heard of it). But she sleuthed out/researched all clues, like Sherlock Holmes, and discovered this rare disorder, prescribing the perfect medicine to combat any recurrence; carry the med with me at all times, but sieges have lessened, nipped in the bud, sometimes in remission . . . and I thank God, and Dr. Cokely for CARING so much, to find mysterious, hidden and rare diagnosis afflicting her patient (ATN is called "suicide disorder" due to electrical voltage flooding whole cranium). I haven't words to express my gratitude for her kind heart and expertise. You could not be in better hands, trusting her.

Dr. Cokely was extremely thorough in my initial examination as well as my follow-ups. Her initial examine with me was one hour. I have lupus and a few other issues so Im a little more complicated than some. She took the time to figure out what was going on with me and then explained my options in terms I fully comprehended. I highly recommended her.

My son had two panic attacks in her building and she refused to see him because he wasn't in her office! She prescribed meds because my son told her he had taken them once over six years ago when he was an adolescent and so she prescribed him what he asked for. Because my son knows what he's talking about after taking a medication once, over six years ago! NOT!! This doctor and her staff are idiots. The front office people don't even give her her messages, or so Dr. Cokely would have you believe. Either way, she and her staff are unprofessional and incompetent to be giving medical advice and care.

I am shocked to see Dr. Cokely list that she specialized in peds. Her bedside table was awful. She acted like because my child had a severe issue that I was wasting her time. She even said to me at one visit that she was shocked my child was still alive. I am not sure if she was saying she thought I was a bad parent of if it was just a bad situation, but regardless of why, it was not appropriate. Every visit she was worse than the one before. We saw her in patient first and had no choice. Then once 2 times after discharge when I finally said enough, this was not just a one off, she is horrible doctor and I will not waste one more minute dealing with her. Since then we have had great neuro specialists that make her look even worse. If you have a choice, do not pick Dr. Cokely!!!

This doctor diagnosed my husband with multiple sclerosis, but didn't have the sense or kindness to tell him what disease he had, saying only that he had "demyelinating disease." He had to ask a friend, another doctor, who told him what he had. She was either heartless or cowardly.
