Dr. Harriet Nailor Hilliard

Once we were inside her office it was quick efficient and informant. She was very professional !

I have to say I was very disappointed with my visit with Dr. Hilliard. She was very distant and uncaring. She didn't give me a chance to talk to her and explain my health issues and concerns. With health, things are not always cut and dry and there are things from the past that have to be explained. I initially saw her about 5 years ago and so much pertaining to my health had changed, including having a child, and I was not able to give her any background info whatsoever. Very disappointed with this visit and I will not be returning. She treated me as if hurry up and let me move on to the next patient. I thought she was a good doctor and did not have this complaint 5 years ago but now it is as if she no longer cares and you are just a number to her. I will not be going back and I think it is time for her to retire because her compassion and care seems to be gone.

After nearly 10 years of misery, and numerous specialists, SHE found my thyroid cancer. She might not be all warm and fuzzy, but who cares? She did what no one else did. My thyroid is gone, and I'm feeling alive again. I'll be forever grateful to her.

I like Dr. H. Hilliard because she exhibits sincere care , concern, professionalism, and she LISTENS. She goes above and beyond , as she responds to my concerns during my visits with her. I feel because Dr. H. Hilliard is such an example of caring, her staff is just as awesome!!

Dr. Harriet Hilliard has been my physician for 10 years. She is professional, caring, and never stops in her effort to make sure that whatever my health problem, is getting proper attention. She calls when it is necessary which amazes me. I always feel I am getting the best care possible from my good doctor, Harriet Hilliard.

I don't know what is up with this lady. I was given an appointment by her randomly. I am new to Kelsey Seybold. I won't be going back. I've never felt such waves of disapproval coming off someone right from the start. She didn't want to hear a word I said and interrupted me. I don't even feel like she checked anything on me that the nurse/assistant before her didn't already do.

Extremely dissapointed's experience sounds a lot like mine. I will not be scheduling any more appointments with Dr. Hilliard because she appears to not have the time or the patience to be a good doctor. On my last visit she informed me that for a well woman visit she does not have time to listen to my health concerns so if I have any I need to schedule another appointment. I was already disturbed by the fact the she had not bothered to contact me in regards to lab reports from a prior visit so that comment was the final straw. Furthemore, I first visited her in 2007 and that one appointment went well. However I have noticed a real decline in her behavior, patience and care over the years. Lately, it has seemed as if she does not listen to me and she talks more than she listens. She does not communicate in a personable manner. She talks as if she is a robot and she does not answer my questions. On my last and final visit I should have gotten dressed and walked out because her attitude… toward me and my questions was that bad. Long story short I will not be seeing Dr. Hilliard again.

I am a black female new to the Hlouston area. I always try to give black doctors a try, but somehow always end up disappointed and Dr. Hilliard was no different. She was not very warm. She was real serious and not easy to talk to. I felt very uncomfortable. If that wasn't enough, she did not seem to be very knowledgable. I asked her questions that she could not answer. She gave some generic answer that people give when they don't know their stuff. She seemed to be inexperienced and lacked confidence. I believe these doctors need to get some additional training on how to be an approchable and friendly person so that patients can be put at ease. At one point I saw no point in asking questions that I had, because she gave me such a distant look and vague answers. She even had the nerve to say that she needed to get through my exam considering the time factor since she had other patients waiting. Looks like her brother has a misconception of his sister. I definitely won't be seeing her… again and I hope that she learns. So disappointing for a black woman from Mississippi. Maybe her education is lacking somewhere. Kelsey Seybold should screen doctors for competency better! I can't believe she has 19 years experience. Sorry, but don't waste your time with this doctor, you WILL be disappointed!

Bias,I think not,My sister Harriet have always been a loving ,caring soul from birth.I am so proud of her and her accomplishments,nothing was given to her,no affirmative action,no set asides. Harriet came from mississipi where blacks consider second-class,yet she excelled,by hard work and being raised in a household where failure was not a option
