I had a bladder incontinence problem and visited Dr. Foster. He had a few residents or aprn students to complete an intake. When Dr. Foster entered to examine me, he understandably requested that I pull my trousers down. I was a little uncomfortable with others in the room yet I understood the need to do a thorough examination. He then wanted to do a prostate exam. I did not wish to have this done in front of an audience and should have requested that they leave the room since the students/aprn's were just standing there. He then said in a sarcastic tone, " Well I will just write in the chart that you refused and I could not complete the examination" I believe that HE should have requested the others to leave the room or simply ask me whether I minded to have them present starting and an exam which they probably viewed innumerable times. He was unprofessional and inconsiderate especially being I was a new patient. I would not recommend Dr. Foster to anyone ... He demonstrated poor… bedside manners and a lack of professionalism.

Did a great job for my DH, we would recommend Dr. Foster.

Dr Foster is the best!! He saved my life 15 years ago when I was at Yale. Would reccomend to anyone. He is a brillant doctor who is as kind as he is smart. I only wish my girlfriend would have had him when she had her bladder trouble.

saved my life ... found the bladder cancer ... completely removed it ... thoroughly checked other potential areas of exposure...have been in very good hands over the last couple of years. best.

No doctor out there wanted to take my case (it was complicated).I had a life threatening auto accident where i tore my urethra and no doc wanted to take responsibility with the outcome.Dr. Foster came to a rehab hospital i was in reviewed my case and broke it down to me step by step from what happened to me to the steps he had to take to make me normal.I had a super pubic tube (not a catheter) big difference but he put me at ease although i was disappointed with the side affects but it wasn't his fault.Overall i would recommend Dr.Foster as a urologist to anyone hands down.
