Dr. Harry I Sokolow, MD

Dr Sokolow is easy to get a hold of and it's like having your own personal doctor. I has a great network of connections for referrals and gets you in to see a specialist really fast. He answers his own phone so no run-around for receptionists. Highly recommend.

Pros: He answers his own phone. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. The registration was quick and easy.  Cons: Listening to Dr. Harry Sokolow talk on and on about his personal life and politics. I told him that I am not into politics and I kept trying to steer the conversation back to me and the reason for my visit, yet he kept steering the conversation back to politics and his personal life. He told me that I should not vote for Donald Trump and that Donald Trump's people are racists. There were several uses of the word crackerhead. My prescription was written incompletely according to the pharmacist. I suffered more with the symptoms that I had come to him for help with in the first place (I could not get the needed prescription filled). He reneged on my treatment plan.

Good doctor

it was a pleasure for him to be my doctor. he has gone out of his way to see me on a saturday when i felt horrible. always available. wants to do the right diagonsis when he is out of his area of expertise.

I tried to get an appointment with my family doctor, but could not get in that same day unless I wanted to "come and wait to see if I could be seen that day." Needless to say, I passed and decided to call Dr. Sokolow. He was able to see me the same day and actually saw me 15 minutes prior to my appointment time! He got my medical history verbally versus filling out lengthy paperwork in advance. I really felt like he took the time to get to know me and my problem. He has a great sense of humor, and he had me laughing quite a bit despite feeling very under the weather. He spent 45 minutes with me, and really made me feel comfortable with him and his choice of treatment for my issue. I really appreciated feeling like he cared about me and that I wasn't on an assembly line or an inconvenience (like most doctors have made me feel in the past). After years of seeing my family doctor, I am totally switching to Dr. Sokolow. No more hour long waits past my appointment time, no more 5 minute… visits, and no more feeling like an inconvenience. I really hope that he keeps his practice the way that he has it now...it is nice knowing that after spending only 45 minutes with him that I now feel like I have known him forever. That is a great doctor! I am actually looking forward to my physical in January...crazy, I know... but seriously, he is a super nice guy!

Great doctor, he always answers to phone and getting an appointment for that same day has always been easy. Hardly ever more than a 5 minute wait. Extremely clean office, very friendly staff and he always takes the time to listen to any questions you have. Ive been a patient for about 4 years now and im always willing to recommend him to coworkers, friends and even strangers who are looking for a doctor.
