Harry M. Stimmel, D.M.D.
Dr. Harry Stimmel graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1974. After serving as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy, he returned to the University of Kentucky for his residency in pediatric dentistry in 1976. He has been treating the dental needs of children since that time.
Dr. Stimmel moved to Texas in 1983 after receiving a teaching appointment in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Two years later, he began private practice.
Dr. Stimmel maintains memberships in numerous dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Society of Dentistry for Children, the Texas Dental Association and the Tarrant County Dental Society. He holds dental licenses in the state of Texas, Florida and Kentucky. In 1982, he had the distinction of being elected as a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Stimmel has four children, Lauren, Greg, Christopher and Paige. The children are active in several sports while Dr. Stimmel enjoys jogging, boating, skiing and golf.
