Dr. Harry J. Thomas, MD

Dr Thomas is an incredible doctor and I continue to be grateful for his help and persistence in helping me feel better. He is open to trying new regimens and is super empathetic. He gives u his full attention at appts and I do not ever feel rushed. His staff is also greet professional.

I think dr Thomas is an exceptional doctor. He takes the time to talk to you and is compassionate as well. I feel like he is honest and very bright and I always feel like I’m in great hands with him. It’s slow to get responses back on the portal at times but that aside I recco him for anyone who needs a great GI doctor!

I had several Colonoscopies in 2021 and a follow-up in 2002. Dr. Thomas is an attentive doctor who has diligently delivered care to ensure positive outcomes. I highly recommend him.

I find Dr Thomas to be competent and knowledgeable. I will continue to see Dr Thomas for inflammatory bowel disease.

I could not disagree with with poor ratings more. I have an auto immune disease that presents as psoriasis, arthritis and chrons. Dr. Thomas has reached out to the other specialties and together they are creating a treatment plan. Dr Thomas is the captain of this and I truly appreciate it. Bill Bradshaw

Then don't bother trying to call him because 1) he does not return calls promptly, and 2) he is inappropriately inconsiderate when it comes to dealing with patient requests. He gets easily frustrated, claiming he does not have time to deal with the situation and, instead, leaves the patient to hunt down another member of staff and without any form of physical and psychological relief. I understand that, after hours, no one wants extra work, but no one should ever say s/he does not have time to help the patient. Because of him I am unable to get relief from my pain, and will have to wait at least another day before I can contact another member of staff to do what this doctor is so unwilling to do. I would not recommend him at this point in his early stages of residency at MGH.
