Dr. Harvey Leonard Nissman

Wish I could give 0 STARS. Uncaring, rude, condescending, and really did not care. Didn't write down anything I said and just brushed me off. 28 years in the military and I got a horrible 12 minute mental health exam before he kicked me out of the door. Unbelievable!!!!!!!

He was 3rd VA Psych Eval Dr in less than 6 months: Less than 25 minute interview, this "cold and uncaring" doctor announced that "we're not talking about Vietnam today," like it was nothing, just asked questions off my DD214, even stated that he thought he was just there to review the other 2 doctor's work. In his report denigrated my the Purple Heart back injury as "superficial." Somehow he thought I was "improved" in less than 6 months from my 1st eval.  When we complained right after our appmt to VA Scheduling Company prior to his issuing my review, even they suggested we complain to the VA. I walked out of the brief appmt feeling further victimized, esp since he recommended cutting my rating 30 days later based on this brief interview. Veterans deserve better than this "cattle call" 20 min approach to psych evals.

Pretty easy process on VA disability. I found having hard time answering questions at the speed he asks.

Rude, will not give you a chance to explain anything, don't have no clue what a veteran went through or care about understanding their hardship. Absolutely ridiculous.

you can't trust someone that have health Insurance Fraud on there record, meaning they will misplace the truth on any report, happen on my C&P Exam for VA

this man will write a negative report on you, he is also rude,don't care about Veterns

Dr. Nissman not only helped me get back on track, but also my son when he needed a doctor, and my daughter who see's him at the present time. He is over all one of the most caring and understanding doctor I have ever had, I owe my sanity to Dr. Nissman. Thank you Doctor Nissman for doing what you do, cause you do your medicine the best!!!!!
