Dr. Harvey James Reiser, MD

Cataract Surgery performed by Reiser resulted in detached retina. Had to have surgery by an eye specialist to reattach my retina. Find another surgeon.Definitely would not recommend !

I am SO happy with my entire experience with Dr. Reiser. 24 hours post op and I can already say this was unquestionably the best decision I have ever made. I had the most skilled surgeon and am already shocked by how well i’m Seeing. Also, Dr. Reiser’s bedside manner was unparalleled. He called me the day after my surgery and seemed genuinely concerned about how I was doing. I would go back again and again!!!

Outcome of surgery not good. Have black areas on side vision now. Was told you’ll get use to it. Never could get a reasonable answer as why this occurred. Very disappointed.

Business manager insisted I needed special astigmatic lenses for an extra 1900 an eye, Dr Riser had never mentioned that I had an astigmatism....I was asked to leave because I questioned them....never would recommend them!!!!!

Very personable and cares for patients. Spent plenty time with me making sure all of my questions were answered.

Little or no concern for patients opinion. Very arrogant and unprofessional. Treats patient as if on an assembly line. Would not recommend him.
