Dr. John Jangwhan Lee, MD

I have used Dr. Lee for botox, filler or other non-surgical procedures, and he is simply the best!. He is caring and careful,  and his refined techniques result in minimal or no bruising at all. I rely on him for recommendations on appropriate procedures, rather than telling him what I think should be done.  Plus he has a very talented, outstanding team. EVERYONE on his staff is always attentive, accommodating, and very pleasant.

Let me start by saying that I have never written a review such as this before. It's not because I have not come across competent physicians before. However, I feel that when it comes to a plastic surgeon, it is incredibly important that the physician be not only highly skilled but also have the ability to connect with his patient and understand his patient's desires and issues, before performing whatever procedure is being asked. I am an Asian American women in my early 40's. I looked and researched far and wide for a surgeon to perform an Asian double eyelid surgery. I even contemplated traveling to California to have the procedure done as perfectly as possible. After much research, it was clear that Dr. Lee had all the credentials and practical experience to perform the surgery -- and he was only one state away from me. After meeting Dr. Lee, I felt extremely comfortable as he took the time to hear my expectations as well as concerns. He was clear in describing to me the… procedure and the expected results. He also made various recommendations to optimize aesthetics. In my case, he suggested creating a small incision at the inner corner of both eyes, order to create a slightly more elongated or "almond" like shape to my eyes which he believed would appropriate for my existing anatomy. The results were absolutely amazing and, importantly, natural. I could not have been any happier. Over the next few months of recovery, I also, for the first time in my life, decided to get botox injections as a preventative measure. Dr. Lee made sure to never "over-inject." I was able to maintain movement and an overall natural appearance -- again, very important to me. Last year, due to the slight hollowing around the nose area, s most people get as they get older, I decided to have a small amounts of voluma injected in that area. I was astounded how a small amount of injections made such an amazing overall difference. Dr. Lee epxlained all different types of injectables and with his input, I decided which form was best for me. It's now been several years that I have been receiving these treatments and I couldn't be happier. I write this review b/c i want potential patients, who expect the best skilled ocular plastic surgeon, to know that Dr. Lee is simply amazing at what he does. Finally, I note that during the past few years as a patient, I have had the opportunity to speak to other patients during my routine visits and every time I talk to a fellow patient, my opinion of Dr. Lee is reinforced... all the patients are truly grateful for Dr. Lee for his superior skill and compassion.
