Dr. Harvey Harris Shapiro, MD

Dr. Shapiro Harvey is a very good doctor and I've been with him for the last two years he left DNA in Naples recently he listens to your problems and care and that is the best psychiatrist I have had in years everybody else wants to I don't even know how to say it but they don't listen to you and they don't care Shapiro actually took time to do tests and stuff and make sure it wasn't too much money because I was out of pocket and I believe he's a very good doctor and I wish that I could find him because now I am out of meds and the ladies in the office don't want to give the information out because they want to keep the patients for himself so here we suffer because of their selfishness if anybody has Shapiro's number please reach out to me

The earlier comments before are very accurate... long waits sometimes, but so worth it because you really feel like you're being cared for. Unfortunately, Dr. Shapiro has closed his private practice office in Bonita Springs and is now with Elite DNA at their Naples office. First of all, there was a 6-week wait to get anything other than a 20-minute appointment (even that was 4 weeks). This never was the case before; he'd always get you in quickly. And, after dealing with Elite DNA on the phone for an urgent prescription issue, their office is a nightmare. Many Facebook reviews show this as well. No calls back and several rude associates... not a very good prognosis.

He has a very bad bed side manner and he is not willing to help you but he will take your money. Referred me to another doctor that will wright my a script for anxiety. He does not know how to talk to you and he is very rude and has no compassion doesn't care about helping you! I am writing his name in my journal incase something happens to me! The rest of the staff was a delight.. Shame on you Dr. Harvey Shapiro!

Dr. Shapiro did a DNA test on me and within three weeks of the results had me on Cymbalta which did remarkable for my depression

Dr. Shapiro is the most sincere, patient, and considerate healthcare provider I've ever had. Not only does he take the time to listen and understand but, he is wildly intelligent and has helped me manage my bi-polar disorder for over 10 years.

I have been with Dr.Shapiro for over 9 years and I've followed him through 3 different offices because he's a doctor who tells you like it is but also can understand and see where you're coming from I refuse to see another psychiatrist. Yes there's normally a wait time but that's because he truly does take his time to listen to his patients.

The only reason you have to wait to see Dr Shapiro is that he will be spending just as long with you. He is great!
