Have been going to Tavakkoli for years, from one failed surgery to another - I can only blame myself. I finally decided to go to Bascom Palmer, and the doctor over there requested I get my records from Tavakkoli, I went again and asked for the records and they insisted I see the doctor again before they can give me my records, and when I did, he tried to convince me to get another surgery from him, what a joke!

Dr. Tavakkoli is one the best eye doctors around. I went to several ophthalmologist and they could not figure out how to help me with my eye issue. The other doctors told me I would have to live with my condition forever. On my first visit, Dr. Tavakkoli not only diagnosed, but fixed the problem. He explains everything to you in detail. His office is the very caring and friendly.

He has been my family ophthalmologist for years and I am very pleased with their services. The doctor is a sweetheart and so is the optometrist in staff! Totally recommend. He was the reason we found my mother was a diabetic and I suffer from allergies!

Dr. Tavakkoli I thought was a good doctor because my mom was went to him for eyes because she was a diabetic. So I decided to go to get my eyes checked and they said I would be a good candidate for lasek eye surgery. the first 4 months I was seeing awesome. after that I started seeing a little blurr, I told him. he said I'm seeing 20/20. I disagree because im still squinting to see road signs and in class. He was rude, very disrespectful, and stuff but have no compassion for the way I felt. I spent $2800 and still have to wear glasses. I recommend NO GET LASIK/ LASEK SURGERY FROM DR. TAVAKKOLI. Everything goes smooth when he wants your business but after that poor results.

Was a little disppointed in the long waiting time. Arrived at 3:00PM for 3:35PM appointement and did not leave office until after 5:30PMThe female technician that gave me the first eye exam never introduced herself nor was there a name tag. She was not that friendly. Then there was a second doctor/technician that gave an eye exam and he was very friendly and had a calming, excellent bedside manner. Then the third eye exam was given by Tavakkoli and he was very good at explaining my situation.
