She was very thorough and listened to everything I said. I was very anxious prior to my surgery and she really took the time to answer all my questions and reassure me. I had an endometrial ablation and periods improved alot since then. No pain after the surgery. She really has good hands.

Dr. Poya was able to help us get through an incredibly difficult time with my miscarriage and I am very thankful for that.

I had my hysterectomy with Dr. Poya and from the intial visit she was very thorough. I had very heavy periods (and severe anemia!), so she recommended a hysterectomy for me. I was happy with my surgery and the care afterwards. The nurses were really great too.

I recently saw Dr Poya for a consultation for hysterectomy for my fibroids. I liked that she didn't push the procedure (basically told me if they weren't bothering me, there was no urgency to remove them). She told me I can make another appointment with her if I decided to get the surgery. When I tried to, she didn't have any openings for over two months. I tried emailing and calling her but no response, so that I didn't like. When I finally met with her she said they were having some kind of trouble with their messaging system. I ultimately decided to do my surgery with her and I was happy with the results. She did laparoscopic surgery and I was out to dinner the next day. Would recommend her in the future.

Dr. Poya is an awesome doctor and the only doctor that was able to treat my chronic pelvic pain. She is very patient and incredibly well read.
