Dr. Haydee Beatriz Docasar, MD

My comment is in regard to medical procedures - I know nothing of cosmetic. Dr. Docasar isn't fluff - she is concerned about the health of her patients in all regards. She has spent more time with me in person and through e-mail than should be expected and has always communicated clearly what the issues are and what next steps I need to pursue (whether within her office or externally.) The office staff is always friendly and compassionate.

Dr. Docasar is definitely a great, caring doctor, good, patient listener who understands menopausal women. This is wonderful. She never, ever tries to rush through our appointment. I'm totally happy with her care.

Beautiful office on the west side of Las Vegas. Dr. Docasar is warm, gentle and saved me. Her hormonal solutions and treatments are a god send.

Don't waste your time or money seeing Dr. Docasar! At the advice of my PCP, I signed up to attend at group (with 6-7 other people) information seminar to learn about bio identical hormone replacement and was then charged $350 for a new patient comprehensive office visit. For $350, she flipped through a power point presentation of fairly generic info. I decided to give it a chance and returned next day for blood draw which added another $75 office visit charge (not including separate lab few). I went back again for pap which was the quickest visit I've experienced in 20 plus years with no time for questions and was told I had to schedule yet another visit to review blood work. I considered sticking it out and scheduled another visit for the following week. Plus each time I visited the office, I was approached to buy everything from Medifast to proactive. To top it off, I cancelled the last appt 3 days before the final visit and was billed a no show fee!! Finally, I bailed and… found another physician and my experience improved. Still working on appeal with insurance company...

Beware she pushes IUD's without finding the root of the problem after having one in for 10 days, I went to another Dr. To remove it. They sent me for an ultrasound and found I needed surgery and did a novasure procedure while in me they found a huge polyp which was the root of my bad periods if you want to find out what's wrong with you don't go her she also extremely rude and makes you feel like your less than person

I went to to see Dr.Docasar for horrible periods, she didn't listen to what I was saying just said it's your age an IUD is what going to help you, so on her recommendation I got the IUD when I went in to get it the nurse took my blood pressure it was elevated they didn't say anything to me about it, than I requested the numbing to get inserted she used lidocaine if she had looked at my chart she would of known I was allergic to it, when she came in she acted annoyed with me and wasn't listening to a word I was saying after she got the IUD in she handed me a pad and walked out the room, I went to regular doctor and found my bad periods where caused from other health problems and that with these health problems I should have never had an IUD put in me needless to say I am going to different gyno to have removed

Without consulting me, the staff called in a prescription for a long-term med to my local pharmacy, not OptumRx (insurance), then refused to help. Instead, she blamed me, though I was never told a new prescription was being ordered. Receptionist hung up on me when I became upset. The staff needs to take responsibility for errors. I will look for another OBGYN.

If her office staff is unsure of information they make you call while in office. The OBGYN spends at the most 5-10 minutes with you. Pushes the latest IUD and bills you three months later charges you interest even though its the first bill. So your paying because they are behind. There statement is not even in date order. The statement has there billing codes "because the general public understands medical codes." They say they accept your insurance and send you a fatty bill later, and your unsure of what the heck your being charged for!

Going to Dr Docasar's office is like going to the fast food restaurant. I went first time as a new patient, front desk rep was nice but i wasn't happy with the Dr and MA. She didn't take time to talk to you and and walk out of the door while you are still talking to her. she doesn't bring any results in the room and if you don't rem asking her about results then you have make another trip and pay copay again. i would not recommend this Dr at all.

Dr. Docasar is advertising falsely and she lied to my face. I went to see her after reading on their website that she offers the hydrothermal ablation procedure as an in-office procedure. She does not. She does all of them at a nearby surgery center, which is more expensive to the patient since you're not only paying doctor fees, but you also have to pay the facility charges and the anesthesia charges. At my initial consultation with her, where she only spent 2 minutes with me, she assured me that she could do the HTA procedure in-office and even discussed with me the medications she would have me take beforehand, and then the next week when I came to her for the pre-op visit, I was all of a sudden handed a surgery center packet and told to sign, sign, sign. I was immediately upset and asked her why she was changing this on me. She blatantly lied and told me that her schedule was just so packed that this was the only way she could squeeze me in. The person at the surgery center who I… spoke with told me, "that's funny, she does all of her procedures here with us, she doesn't do these in-office." She also did a biopsy on me that day in the office as part of the pre-op and was very rough, she was not gentle at all. She yanked the speculum out of me and everything. Horrible. I do NOT recommend this doctor!
