Dr. Hazel Gray Garrish, MD

Dr. Hazel Garrish was born in Virginia and grew up in Dunn, North Carolina. She graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and was a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina, where she graduatd with highest distinction with a B.S. in Biology. She stayed in Chapel Hill after completing her undergraduate degree, and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and her Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina School of Public Health. Dr. Garrish completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Virginia Children's Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Garrish is married to Aaron Garrish, a video producer/editor in the Raleigh area. They have one young son, Evan. In her free time, Dr. Garrish enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling to new destinations, and cheering for the favorite …team, THE TARHEELS!
