Doctor Cooper is an excellent pediatrician. We feel the drive out to Bonney Lake from Tacoma is worth it for her calm and understanding treatment of our ASD, ADHD kiddo.

While my 15 year old daughter was being examined; Dr. Cooper coughed in her face (my daughter did not like this at all). My daughter felt like she was not listened to at all. Dr. Cooper put my daughter on Zoloft for mild depression (in my opinion this drug should never be used for depression in teens). I thought she was getting better but after about 3 weeks at 100mg she went "crazy"; she started cutting, having extreme outbursts, ran away from home and tried to commit suicide. I did some research and found that this medication is known for this to happen in teens! Why would this be the first drug the Dr. went to? My daughter since has been put in a mental hospitable and was put on a mood stabilizer and is doing much better. When you put the life of your child in hands of a Dr., they should take a little more time to diagnosis or send them to a specialist. Lesson learned, I will do much more research before I trust what is prescribed for my child.

I have 2 boys age 7 and 13 and really like seeing Dr Cooper.
