Scheduling was a bear. It took MONTHS and no one ever called me back. When I was finally able to see Dr. Elias, she was very intelligent, understanding, and kind. My PCP never sent my TSH blood work to her so I had to drive to my PCP get the results and drive back. Dr. Elias immediately took a break from what she was doing, looked at my blood work, and fit me in for a biopsy during her lunch hour!

Doctor Elias listened and took time to understand what my medical problem was. She is on time and responded to me with my results quickly. I would highly recommend her.

Not sure HOW she has great patient reviews. She is horrendous. Attributed ALL 40 of my thyroid symptoms to lack of sleep... Told me to just try to sleep more. Which I can't. I have nodules on my thyroid and she said that doesn't indicate anything wrong with my thyroid at all. She also saw in my chart that I was DIAGNOSED with hyperthyroidism and that wasn't a red flag for her. DO NOT SEE HER.

Dr. Elias has excellent interviewing and physical exam skills. She had a warm friendly rapport with me. She is an attentive listener and is an empathetic person. Dr. Elias makes me feel like we are partners in my healthcare.

Dr Elias is very professional and thorough and at the same time, caring and reassuring. She answered my questions and calmed any fears I might have had. I went away feeling very good about the visit. She was also very quick to follow up with test results. I highly recommend her to anyone needing to see an endocrinologist.

Dr. Elias is a thoughtful and thorough doctor, very knowlegeable in her field. She listens, which is so very important. She also treats her patients with respect, a quality lacking in many physicians these days. But, regretably, the most memorable piece of my association with Dr. Elias is how difficult it is to get an appointment. The latter is not her fault, but rather that of the Endocrinology Clinic at the UMass Med Center where she practices. If one misses an appointment regardless of reason - snow storm, accident, illness, etc., it is a minimum of three months before another appointment is available. Very unfortunate.
