She would then go on to complete her graduate program at Meredith College, earning her Master of Science in Nutrition. She has been a Licensed Dietitian for over 13 years and is registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Heather is also a Certified Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Lifestyle Coach and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). Heather resides in the Asheville area of NC with her husband Michael and pup, Emma.
