Dr. Heather Kestner Green, PhD

Dr. Green spent more than a year conducting her custody evaluation, charged over $25k, and when her report was finally issued, the parties involved weren't even referred to by their correct names, the best interests of the child were ignored and hearsay from the non-custodial parent was given credence. Worst of all her misguided recommendations were used to develop a custody order. It was discovered later that she secretly provided confidential information to the non-custodial parent proving that her work was biased throughout the entirety of the evaluation. She is unethical and currently under investigation by the State Department. She should lose her license.

Dr. Green was late to all of our scheduled appointments. She charged an extraordinary about of hours for her report which basically regurgitated statements from the parties she interviewed; however, she still managed to confuse names and misrepresent facts and statements that were provided to her. In the end she missed contradictions of the subject patient's statements, failed to follow up on easily disprovable claims and provided little to no analysis. She is extremely expensive.

I absolutely agree with the other reviewers. Heather Green is extremely expensive but extremely sloppy. Her report is long, but all filler. She does the required testing, but doesn't bother to analyze the testing. For example I fit abused spouse patterns in the domestic violence screening. She didn't explore this in her report. Testing showed that I under react, but she chose to put weight on ex's insistence that I over react. Dr Green said in report MMPI-2 Profile for my ex may be "an underestimate of his current psychological problems", but then never revisits or explores this. She never explored our daughter saying she didn't want overnights with her father. She dismisses his multiple DUI's and documented lies and calls me "controlling" for being concerned about him driving our daughter. She showed up an hour late for the home visit without any communication and late for several appointments. Best of all, she gave him advice, which is completely unethical for a court appointed… evaluator. She told him to ask for more time than he wants so if he gets less, he'll get what he originally wanted. She made up her mind to give us 50/50 from the start and never actually bothered to weigh the information.

there should be zero stars. this lady needs serious mental health care herself. she is biased rude condescending.

She was very difficult to get in to see and cancelled at the last minute. She was very sexist and biased toward my former partner and current coparent. She provided very little value in our situation
