I would not recomment Dr Harle to anyone I know. I do not believe she is competent in all aspects of neurology.

Dr. Harle really seems to care and do all that's possible to take care of finding what may work for her patient.

I have had limited time with Dr. Harle, but I felt that she had more interest in my neurological problem ,than I had previously experienced.

Dr. Harle is pleasant but made several mistakes when it came to my mother's diagnosis, physical therapy, and medicine. She did not do a thorough, standard neuro test and therefore missed the disease which was diagnosed by another neurologist. She sent my mother to a non-certified Movement Disorder physical therapist when there was a certified one locally available. In short, when my mother continued to decline and the medicines and physical therapy provided no improvement, she should have reassessed and retested more thoroughly to look for the cause (her misdiagnosis) rather than blame the patient who was doing everything she could to comply. When I realized that something else must be wrong, I asked her office to plead our case to Movement Disorder Specialty practice and they refused saying that Dr. Harle was a good doctor and that we didn't need to see anyone else. So we waited the 3 long months for the new neurologist who knew right away what was wrong but took the time to test… thoroughly to confirm the diagnosis. Not good news. So trust your instincts, you're probably right.

I had been to 4 doctors who told me I had degenerated discs, bulging discs but that did not make sense as to the amount of pain I was in. Dr Harle looked down into the MRI's for a view of the cord itself. She diagnosed me with Sub Acute Combined Degeneration. That explained the excruciating pain, finally. 2 Thumbs UP!!
