Extremely disappointed by the care oh sorry ignorance my son received. He has Hemophilia B and developed a painful bruise, yet Dr. Heather Harris and staff didn’t examine him, ask what happened, or speak with the on-call hematologist from Aflac Cancer Center—who was available and ready to consult on the phone with me for 10 minutes and kept insisting to consult. I even asked for their landline so Aflac Center,Atlanta could call professionally, but they refused. My son is a patient here under Dr. Monal Shah, which is why I came instead of going to an ER. Days later, Dr. Shah followed up, but by then I had already rushed my son to Atlanta, where he was admitted. The clinic’s lack of urgency and communication could’ve endangered his health. She should not be a doctor if she cannot even ask or evaluate a patient in emergency situation.
