Dr. Heather Lynn Knott, DO

Do not go to this doc. Had a very bad experience with her demeaning treatment.

Dr. Knott is committed to providing knowledgeable care to her patients as I have seen through her treatment of my husband. We have been seeing her for almost a year and are very happy. Hook em Horns!

I couldn't even get past trying to schedule an appointment. Eric was cruel. I explained that I had just been released from the emergency room where they had just put me in an empty room for 8 hours. He laughed at me and told me "They don't do that." He then proceeded to mock me and just be condescending in general. The audacity of Eric telling me that what I had just lived was a lie on my behalf. I was suicidal and very upset. I'll never cross that office threshold. What he did was borderline criminal and I truly believe that he has absolutely no business being around mentally fragile people. Ever.

The important thing to know about Heather Knott's practice is that your private, protected health information, as governed by HIPAA, will not be secure. While I was her patient, her office manager left protected health information on a voicemail message. I reported this violation to her, but she did nothing with the information. Rather, the next time I had an appointment, she stated that she would no longer be willing to treat me. This was also after I had confronted her with billing information that showed she was billing my insurance for longer sessions than we had actually had. Recommend caution with this provider.
