Dr. Heather Powell Shelton, MD

Dr Shelton figure out what was wrong with the me in just two vists after a 4 year search. She very much on top of her game. i thank God i found her.

Dr. Shelton is very personable, is not overly impressed with herself as many doctors are, and seems to be genuinely concerned about her patients' health. I very much appreciate her sending emails to me concerning lab results and her diagnosis . She explains your condition to you in an understandable manner. I really think she is excellent.

My last internist retired and I was very upset to lose her until I found Dr. Shelton! She just happened to be referred by my last doctor. What a great find. I have yet to have a wait at her new office. The on-line scheduling of appointments is so easy and efficient. She spends the time needed to answer all my questions and gives comprehensive explainations that are easy to understand. I have already recommended her to my friends. She is a rare jewel of a doctor! I couldn't be more pleased.

I am so proud to have Dr. Shelton as my Dr. I don't know another Dr. that would call to see about you while they're on vacation. Thank you Dr. Shelton for all that you do. I never look forward to going to the Doctor's office, but it is a joy every time I get to see you. There is never a rush to get you out of the office, so she can get to another patient. Thanks for being a caring and loving Doctor.

Dr. Shelton is a patient listener. She talks the issues over with you, describes next steps in a way you can understand them, and gives you options. She and her staff are very organized and have great follow up.

I have always liked Dr. Shelton, but considered leaving her at her previous clinic. This was not because of her, but because of the terrible administration of said clinic. Now that she is on her own at Green Island I couldn't be happier! Dr. S. is compassionate and knowledgable. I would gladly recommend her to ANYONE!

Dr. Shelton seems to be concerned about me as a person, not just a patient. She listens and reponds to my complaints. She usually offers more than one treatment option and together we decide which one to try.

Heather Shelton is remarkable, both as a person and as a doctor - and she lets you see both sides. Her manner is calm, thoughtful, and engaging. She researches when necessary and discusses options with you. I am so lucky that she is my doctor.

I'm 66 years of age and have had several very good doctors in my life; however, Dr. Shelton is the whole package, knowledgeable and thorough in her profession, delightful as a person and in her manner with patients. Her new office is a such a welcome contrast to trying to work through a large clinic. The phone is answered by Courtney, another sweet and efficient person to deal with, you set your own appointments online and there's even a time for walk-ins. I only wish all offices were so efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Shelton!
