Dr. Heather Sung, MD

Dr. Sung is a breath of fresh air for helping navigate the caregiving for my parent. Patient, knowledgeable, and well versed, giving alot of time to understand our needs and advise.

Dr. Sung exudes compassion and humanness. She makes her patients feel as though they are her only patient. Dr. Sung takes her time in each appointment, every appointment; she navigates the many tides of symptoms and distress as they pertain to each individual, to help that person find peace in the storm. Dr. Sung goes beyond her title of Physician, she knows how to heal the human heart and comfort the soul.

Dr. Sung is a compassionate professional who delivers extraordinary care. She helped guide me and my family through end of life care that afforded the patient dignity, created an atmosphere of caring and trust, and helped calm anxiety and fear. She is a remarkable doctor and I will always be grateful to have been in her orbit of care.

Dr. Sung is, to borrow an old statement of the highest regard, my "beau idéal" of a Doctor. A care-giver, a marvelous listener, a patient guide to help me reach a conclusion (and subsequently think it was my idea) She is always available, has patience like a Mother's with a balky child, leads me to decisions that at first seemed insoluble, and willing to allow reasonable accommodation. She soothes the pains and conflicts inherent in aging. She is a blessed guide necessary to resolve the tensions of old age.

Dr. Sung is one of the most compassionate doctors that I have ever had the pleasure to be a patient of. Dr Sung listens and is always ready with available resources and referrals. Dr Sung is always on time & I have never felt rushed. Quite the contrary, this lovely woman oozes empathy. Anyone would be lucky to be her patient.

A home visit was productive and she ;had a good bedside manner. She was also helpful in discussing with me and other family members how we could proceed in the future. Easy to talk to.
